Iretiola Olusola Ayinke was born on May 3, 1967, in Lagos State. After her primary education, she attended Christ School, Ado-Ekiti. Thereafter, she obtained a diploma in Mass communication and bagged a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of Jos Plateau, Nigeria. Iretiola has lived in Nigeria and some cities overseas.

She is married to the veteran broadcaster, Patrick Doyle, and their home is blessed with children and grandchildren.

She started acting in 1995 during one of her school strikes. She utilized the opportunity and auditioned for a role in the TV series Riddles and Hopes. Before that, her motivation began in secondary school while watching Joke Silva in Lola Fani Kayode produced TV series, Mind-bending.
While building her career in the Movie Industry, she also ventured into hosting television programs.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala @ngoziokonnjoiweala is a Nigerian-American economist and international development expert. She sits on the boards of Standard Chartered Bank, Twitter, Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, and the African Risk Capacity.
On 15 February 2021, she was appointed as Director-general of the world trade organization. Her term will begin on 1 March 2021, when she will become the first woman and the first African to hold the office.
Previously, Okonjo-Iweala spent a 25-year career at the world bank as a development economist, scaling the ranks to the Number 2 position of Managing Director, Operations (2007–2011). She also served two terms as finance minister of nigeria (2003–2006, 2011–2015) under President olusegun obasanjo and President Goodluck jonathan respectively. She was the first woman to serve as the country's finance minister and the first woman to serve in that office twice. In 2005, euromoney named her global finance minister of the year.

Funke Akindele is also the CEO of Scene One Production. Scene One Production is a content production company for television stations and movies. Scene One production also has entertainment platforms and a mobile app for watching TV series, Nollywood movies, TV shows and music...She founded Jenifa’s Foundation, a non-governmental organisation. Through Jenifa’s Foundation, Funke gives back to the society. The organisation empowers and help young people discover their talents in acting, music and dance.
