You can only reload the software when you can make this device read from usb/flash … once that mytv logo shows and reboot it is bricked. I have heard similar issue on same 497s I tried marking it boot from usb to no avail so i had to send it back to strong and it was fixed within a month

Gurus in the house please help!

My SRT 497s decoder displays only MYTV LOGO for like 2 sec and goes blank. It doesn't recognize remote control any longer. No activity at all .Only the 'ON INDICATOR' is seen. Pressing the power button does nothing too.
Please help.

It’s fried take it to their office with the carton that has the serial number it has warranty. They will fix it within a month
