It's not just that game, the walking dead, dungeon hunter and zombie are asking for controller. It doesn't even give me the option of switching to phone screen control

change your region to other countries whether you will see any update if your current miui version is not the latest from miui.

I was at home today and here's my battery chart..... I unplugged it at 7am, 4G was and still ON all through.... Glued to the Internet for most of the time, and also played FIFA 2014 for like 2 hours and here's the remaining.

on 1% how many how hours did it last.

thanks bro for the response,I couldn't update last night because my battery was not fully charged so I had to abort in order for it not to drain down when in the process of updating.

I think there's version 9.0.5.0 available or if the rom is only affecting your games I suggest you try another version of that game and see the outcome.

Is normal right?? Because I do see some with 1.3gb or 1.5gb.

have you been able to solve this problem? I'm currently facing the same issue, i cant play most rpg or fps games on my Mi6 without a controller,
and i have never used a controller for my android phone

Its clearly a disaster.
This is battery use for 9.0.5.0
4G on most of the time.

Its almost the same with 8.5 for me
I got up to 11hours SOT on 8.5.
I will let this one run down to 1% and see...

please do oh when it gets to 1%.

I just updated from 8.5 to 9.0.0.5 and didn't have to restore backup data.
Everything is still intact after the update.

Even if you are rooted, you won't get a brick, you'll only lose root privilege when you update via OTA, that's how miui works.

Nothing can go wrong with OTA update unless you rooted it of course.

not rooted,my phone is legit.

I didn't followed any procedure.... Just go to updater and allow it to download. In fact, I did not even backed up my data and nothing was losed.

Go to settings » about phone » wl see an arrow pointing Up wt system update written under it, click it

It wl take u to d updater app of ur fone then click "check for updates"
It wl bring up d latest updates

OK just that,I don't need to lock or unlock or undo any settings...is my first time updating because I read it bricked someone's phone here and I don't have any PC here or around me,after updating what do I do next.

please am using the phone as yours redmi note 4 3/32,please step by step guide on how you updated from miui 8 to 9 though oga gptech had earlier answered me but since we are using the same phone and model specific guide would be of grate help because I want to do it tonight thank you.

if I say make I review am from foreigners it may not be accurate because they don't use phones as we do,on heavy usage (gaming for 3 hours stretch) miui 8 last for 8 hrs and when not on heavy usage it can last longer though I forgot to check the sot before charging (charged it once and used it for 2 and half days with 20% remaining).
