NEWS ALERT All prospective UNIBADAN candidates can now view their admission status on official website of Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB). The management of university of Ibadan are said to have submitted the comprehensive list of those admitted into the institution for the 2013/2014 academic session to the matriculation body and it's now available online. This, according to an in - house source who reitrates that the school management are in no hurry to release the list any soon but to show compliance and adherence to beat the deadline set by JAMB that all institutions must draw down the curtains to admissions on or before the 31st day of october with heavy sanction on any institution who defies the order. Meanwhile, it is observed that only candidates who scored 50 and above in the just released post utme results are considered for admission in the usual principle of the school authority. The management also advice any candidate who scored 50 and/or above in the exercise but whose name is not on JAMB website to wait for the change of course form as he/she might have scored below the minimum cut - off mark as required by his/her department of choice. Admitted candidates are therefore adviced to accept and acknowledge their admission by paying the sum of seven thousand naira as acceptance fee into the school undergraduate admission processing account which will be displayed on the school website in coming days CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE ADMITTED! source: me, myself and i (hakings) |

pardon my intrusion! what is this news about ui admission perequisites generating like the smoke of an engine whose crown shaft is at 30. my question is 'have ui had their postume screening exercise? if yes, when is the second one coming up? and is there anybody among those that took the first screening exercise who can provide me with the past questions? urgent response please! |

in all my days of following ui admission exercise, i've always known them for an attribute which they never desist from and it's, keeping candidates on their toes. my advice to all is just to calmour nerves while we await thursday. our days of waiting is way less than the days we 've waited. if i made no mistake. |

the episode that catches my fancy in the reports of the closed - door meeting held at the presidential villa yesterday by the vice president and ASUU's emissarries is none but the presence of prof Isaac Folorunsho Adewole which signifies the vice - chancellor's strong hold in the union and an indication that no post - utme is forthcoming for ui applicants until the strike is brought to a halt. so, we can only pray that either ASUU or the federal government or both shift ground and reach a compromise in the soonest. pending the time, i hope i can complete my football - coaching apprenticeship so that i will become the first undergraduate football manager and probably commence my coaching career as the gaffer of ui football team and from there get an invitation from the nnf to manage any of the age - grade teams, and then the super eagles before plying my trade in europe. by then, the likes of mou, pep, klopps and the relunctant spender, wenger will have been out of the cannons |

nonchalant conduct on the part of ui! they are trying to uphold their treaty with ASUU that no university should conduct post utme amidst the on - going strike forgetting that they are toying with the emotions of the anxious applicants who have been receiving loads of admission news and testimony from friends and applicants of other universities . it's obvious that no school resumes until the striking lecturers and their employers resolve thier difference but the mood of the waiting candidates will be liven after they must have taken their screening exercise and probably secured admission into their institutions and departments of choice but ui think otherwise. i use this medium to urge anyone with direct link with the management of ui to help relate our travails to them and make them understand that we 've received enough news of admission from our friends and rejoiced with them a lots, and so we want them to rejoice with us also. for ui, we wait but in ALLAH we trust. 2 Likes |
