Metro Exodus was recently moved from a release on Steam to the Epic Games Store as a one year timed exclusive. Developer 4A games has been hit with criticism and has stated the move was not their decision. It was made by Koch Media and Deep Silver.

4A Games have stated they plan on continuing the franchise and there will always be a release on Windows PC.
