Crackdown 3 has had a rough few years since its
announcement at E3 2014. Not only has it been delayed
several times, most recently to spring 2018, but some fans
have made it known how it just isn’t shaping up to be what
they want, as evidenced by the reaction to multiple
gameplay demos. Microsoft Studios Publishing General
Manager Shannon Loftis has acknowledged their mistake in
announcing the game too early.

“I think we probably announced Crackdown too early,” Loftis told Polygon at Gamescom this week.

Nintendo Confirms Telltale’s Batman and Guardians of the Galaxy for Switch

At San Diego Comic-Con 2017, Telltale Games finally
announced what fans have been asking for for years: a
second season to The Wolf Among Us. Though fans might

At long last, Tekken 7 players who’ve been waiting to get

Xbox’s Larry Hryb has revealed the Games with Gold lineup
for September 2017. As always there are two Xbox One
games available throughout the month, and two Xbox 360
backward compatible games. September brings us a mix of
indie and AAA games in the form of Forza Motorsport 5,
Oxenfree, Battlefield 3, and Hydro Thunder Hurricane.

Forza Motorsport 5 headlines the games on Xbox One and is available to download for free with a Gold membership
starting on September 1 and lasting through the entire
month. On September 16, Night School Studios’ supernatural graphic adventure Oxenfree will be available. Oxenfree flew under the radar of a lot of people so definitely pick it up if you have the chance.

Over on Xbox 360, Hydro Thunder Hurricane starts off the
month of September. It is a boat racing game published by
Microsoft Studios. The heavy-hitter on Xbox 360 next month
is Battlefield 3, which comes to the Games with Gold
program in the middle of the month on September 16.

Bandai Namco has announced a new strategic partnership with Life is Strange developer Dontnod Entertainment which will see the creation of a brand-new project based on a new narrative adventure experience.

Telltale announced that the second episode of Batman: The Enemy Within, which will be entitled “The Pact,” will be available on September 26. The episode will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and this date will also show the game coming to iOS and Android mobile devices, with both episodes one and two coming to those platforms on the same day. In addition to releasing some teaser images from the new episode, it was also confirmed in the statement that Harley Quinn will be making her first appearance in the series in this episode, adding her to the game’s existing villain roster of The Riddler and The Joker.

CD Projekt has unveiled more of Gwent's story campaign,
called Thronebreaker.

The Witcher spin-off collectible card game has all the
competitive modes you'd expect of the genre, as well as a
substantial single-player story mode. It stars Meve, a war-
veteran queen of two Northern Realms. Here's the official

CI Games has revealed plans to release a single-player campaign DLC for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3.
The campaign, called The Sabotage, is a prequel to the story of the main game. It stars Robert North, the brother of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3's main hero, Jonathan North, as he fights against the rise of the 23 Society. In the DLC, North prepares the land for a separatist revolution by sabotaging the Georgian army under the command of General Otar Leonidze.
