Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft’s Xbox division, has given an interview to Japanese site GameWatch, in which he discusses the motives that lead to the cancellation of the long-anticipated Xbox One exclusive Scalebound, which was revealed back in January. Spencer points at the fact that the project started to reach an impossible scale, with developer Platinum Games seeing that they could not meet the huge expectations that fans had. That lead to both Microsoft and Platinum to decide to cancel the project.

Brütal Legend Sequel Will Happen, But Not Soon

Destiny 2 has exclusive content for PlayStation 4 owners, but apparently it will be headed to Xbox One and PC as well. The caveat, Xbox One and PC Destiny 2 players will need to waituntil 2018 to access it. Despite recent reports that the
content would never arrive on other platforms, Bungie’s
Luke Smith has taken to Twitter to confirm otherwise.

“Destiny 2’s PlayStation exclusive content will arrive on Xbox
One and PC in 2018,” says Smith. This PlayStation 4 exclusive content includes the “Lake of Shadows” Strike, exclusive gear, an exclusive “City Apex” ship, an exotic weapon called “Borealis” and a PvP map called “Retribution.”

Lineage 2 Revolution, the mobile remake of the classic MMORPG, has just soft launched on Google Play
It’s the game you know and love, just better. The visuals are great, as you can expect from Unreal Engine 4, and the developer claims it’s the largest open world on mobile. We think Order & Chaos might have something to say about that.

Konami’s controversial Metal Gear spin-off Survive has been pushed back from the original expected release this year to early 2018. Konami representatives have confirmed during E3 that the company is giving developers a few more months to polish the title, which will feature a “dense single- player mode” apart from the previously announced multiplayer options.

Red Hood is a new character that’s available for NetherRealm Studios’ Injustice 2 for those who purchased the Ultimate Edition, Ultimate Pack, or Fighter Pack 1. Over time the Ultimate Pack will grant access to nine playable characters as they are released.
The Ultimate Pack also frants access to three Premier Skins: Power Girl, John Stewart Green Lantern, and Reverse Flash. The skins give the characters new looks, voices, and dialog. Two new Gear Shaders are included in the pack as well. These allow players to customize their characters with Destroyer and Defender shader packs.

Japanese Magazine Weekly Famitsu has shared more details on the fighting game Dissidia: Final Fantasy NT, which was announced last week for PS4. First of all, the title of the game takes the meaning of New Tale, New Trial, and New Tournament, which is not a random choice, since the story will actually follow the events depicted in the two Dissidia games released on PSP.

Sega has presented new trailers of the two upcoming Yakuza games for PS4. Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original entry released on PS2, while Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is the final chapter of the story of the main hero, Kazuma Kiryu. Yakuza 6 is the first entry to be developed with the new Dragon Engine, making it the most advanced game in the series.

Yakuza Kiwami will be released for PS4 on August 29, while
