Saying there are no classic japanese style games I will have to disagree with that though most of them can be boring because of being repetitive but that doesn't make some others great. These days japanese games are not as popular as before because they are all looking the same.

And typicalgamer some of the games u mentioned are not japanese style games but are created by japanese studio. Obviously we cannot underrate the contribution the japanese have on the gaming world because they have created great games like Pokemon, sonic, legend of zelda, metroid, megaman, pacman to name a few.

Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito announced the company will release new information on Babylon’s Fall by the end of the year. The game was announced at E3 2018 and is in development at Platinum Games.
"Yes, we’ll be doing that," said Saito when asked when asked if there would be new information on the game in 2019.
Babylon’s Fall is in development for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

I wish I knew how to play some of these fighting games .

The one I really tried to learn was Tekken 3. The combo strings are a deterrent I can't learn it .

u are exactly like me I have played most fighting games tho but the patience to learn most combos na work my own na just they tap all the buttons until I hear "You WIN"
