Iran had stated it will attack any country interest in the middle-east it perceived is aiding Israel, so the US shouldn't put its assets in place to protect it's forces??

The British are not even intercepting missiles, yet they are moving jets to the middle-east. Every country is moving assets to defend its forces in the middle-east.

Three days into the conflict, we can all see the IDF structured plans and goals, take out Iran nuclear facilities, take out its top brass in the Iranian military apparatus, while expanding to economical targets like the oil refineries, what is Iran plans?? Fire couple of missiles and hope for the best?? All the massive hits on israell have been on residential civilian infrastructures and the Weizmann Institute of Science a civilian college,
What exactly is iran's military goal in this war.
So far there haven't been any military deaths incured on the side of the jews.

If I was on the Iranian side, my goals for now should be targeting top military brass and hunting the Airbase used as lunching boards to carry attacks against iran.
