Umartins1: 1. Let the total weight of the first group= x
X/45 = 40
X= 40*45
X= 1800kg
Let the total weight of the 2nd group = y
Y/30 = 45
Y= 30*45
Y= 1350kg
Let the total weight of the 3rd group = Z
Z/25 = 50
Z= 50*25
Z= 1250kg
Total weight = 1800kg + 1350kg + 1250kg
= 4400kg
Total number of students = 45+30+25
= 100
Therefore, mean weight of all students = 4400kg/100
= 44kg
2. X/25=6
X= 6*25
X= 150
150-30
= 120
120/24
= 5
3. Let the total age of children = x
X/3 = 9
X= 9*3
X= 27years
Let the total age of parents= y
Y/2= 39
Y= 39*2
Y= 78
Total age= 78+27
= 105yrs
Average age = 105/5
= 21yrs
