In the early hours of the morning (19th December 2013) H&M Nigeria tweeted from their official twitter account, announcing a management deal signed between H&M Nigeria and the sensational Hip Hop star Maverick.

In late 2013, Maverick dropped the video of the popular song “iyalaya anybody” gaining tremendous playback on music television networks across the country and on radio network around Lagos.

Mr. Harrison Akadidi the CEO of H&M Nigeria made a comment on the new deal with hiphop star maverick saying; yes we have so many amazing and talented music artiste right here in Nigeria, but am not exaggerating when I say, maverick is different, unique and fresh, as a matter of fact maverick almost share similar voice and creative values with international stars like “2 Chains” and “One Future” but not withstanding I strongly believe “Maverick” would be a huge success in the Nigerian entertainment industry and the world at large.

H&M Nigeria is proud to announce “Maverick” as an official signed artiste to its management, giving us the opportunity to bring the next generation music to the present day.
