Guys i went to the admission office for the change of course but was instructed to pay the acceptance fee first before the change of course.my question is do i wait till clearance to pay for the change of course fee or before clearance.And what credentials do we need for clearance.

U will pay for the change of course before clearance cos it is ur new department u do the normal clearance.

The dead line given to pay d acceptance fee is two weeks but the skul didn't work on it,u will observed that it is over two week they released list for most prefered yet some are still paying for the acceptance,Note-it will get to a point whereby d admission will be withdrawn,nobody knows the exact time,at dat period it will b on their website that 2014/2015 applicants who want to pay acceptance fee should confirm their names in d skul before paying for the acceptance which simply means that there is a tendency for d name to have been removed.

It is d skul website,u will right click on d tab and reload the page that bring ur photo and another person's details,it will bring ur own details.u can as well drop ur application number or d e-mail u used to register,if the problem persist.

Bro obabila, i chose chemical engineerin as 1st choice nd civil eng as 2nd. I scored 49.33 nd 200 in jamb, z dere bin any 2nd lists 4 both courses cos i knw one mr. Tobi workin in d eduportal @ d library complex; d last tym i saw him he showed me d printout of my name nd his name wit d oga signature bt up til nw ve nt seen anytin...
Any advice 4 me or wot do u tink d probz is? Am xo worried

Pls I got admission so says jamb site but my problem is that the school has not released any admissions list! So could there be any scenerio where jamb gives admission and the school releases a different list?

i don't mind posting some jamb registration number here for u to confirm,u will check their status on jamb website ,it will shown that they have been offered admission by d skul,go and pay d acceptance fee which is 12100 using interswitch (atm) then u will print admission letter from d skul and medical ,thereafter,u will take d admission letter to jamb office and complain that ur name did not reflect on jamb website.it will b rectified.did u choose laspotech most preferred? That is first choice where university suppose to be,reply asap.

you have no business with JAMB, laspotech
doesn't submit names of admitted candidates
to JAMB. Once you've been admitted on the
school portal, you're good to go!!

laspotech submit names of admitted applicants to jamb,d first list released by d skul has been sent to jamb,i will advice d victim to accept d offer of admission and go to jamb office to complain,it will b rectified.

go to ur department,and ask if u should pay for d acceptance fee before paying for d change of course,i know someone who paid for d acceptance and also printed her admission letter before going and she was asked to pay 10k for change of course.u can go to skul to before paying.

am usin waec/gce(one sittin) wrote it last year,so do i stil need d o'level certificate?

computer print out will b accepted but i will advice u to get d original once,since it is now available,just go to waec office and ask wen they attend to 2013. It should b on friday but go their to confirm.

i passed d cut off mark for accounting it was 52 for non indegenes and i got 56 yet ma name is nt on any list...please is dere anoda list ni abi what will i do bai

re-check ur name cos d list has been ammended,and if ur name did not come out visit d skul (admission office to b precise) and complain ,it might b a mistake from them.u can as well go with d screen shot of d cutoff as envidence.mind you,ur manner of approach matters a lot their and how confident u are.

My Jamb subject combo is Eng,Lit-in-eng,economics and govt and when registering i chose mass comm as first choice and estate management as second choice but i was granted admission to estate management.
How do i go about changing the course is it after or before paying acceptance fee?

u shouldn't have choosen estate management for d second choice but all d same u will go to d skul to complain,u will b asked to pay sum of money which is 10k for d change of course den u will b asked to fill form and submit it with some of ur documents.go to skul to pay for change of course form,so dat in ur admission letter d new course will reflect.

Dear Nairalanders, I need all the help in the world at this stage.
I was offered admission into the Federal University Of Petroleum Resources(FUPRE), Effurun, Delta State to study Computer Science. Yet each time I check my admission status on the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB) website, it keeps displaying "No admission given yet".
I sent an email to FUPRE and JAMB respectively. Fupre replied my email urging me to exercise patience that maybe JAMB have not updated their website. JAMB on the other hand have not replied me. This "no admission given yet" status has been there for almost 2weeks since i've been given admission.
The worrying part is that it's not just me. Many students from FUPRE and other institutions across the country are complaining about this same problem. Some of my friends and my friend's friends in schools like Uniben, Delsu, Uniport etc have been complaining of this same problem.
I am Really worried because I will need my admission letter from JAMB during clearance at the school come January when we resume.
I Really need help at this stage. I'm calling on anyone who hears my cry and that of people like me and can help us to please help us. And if there's anyone who works in JAMB That's here, that person should help us out. We're pleading!!!!!

U have to go to jamb office to complain,if u are a lagosian u can go jamb office at ikoyi i strongly believe it will b rectified provided dat d skul truly admit u but if d skul had not sent d name to jamb u will also b told to exercise more patience.
