D Bebigiby1: You're always quick to attack my comment.... If I did not care will I be here making posts encouraging Nigerians to hold the government accountable. I attended the August nationwide protest because I care.... But just as I said in my previous post that this protest will fail because of low turn out of Nigerians.... You make wrong assumptions thinking that protest is war when it is not.... The government killing protesters is a violation of their rights and it is left for Nigerians to hold the government accountable for killing unarmed peaceful protesters. I've never compromised or shyed away from airing my views against this evil government even when it is not popular. I was one of the most vocal supporter of this protest if you check my threads....The fact that I said many Nigerians are selfish, tribalistic and religious is not an insult but it is the truth.... You are a member of this forum and you can see the tribalism and hateful rhetorics been made by Nigerians in defense of this government against others..... I will always support genuine agitiations that will move the country and say what I believe is the truth until Nigerians see the need to let go of selfish tribalistic and religious sentiments to demand for a better future..... SmokedWhiskey: The problem with many Nigerians (both educated and uneducated) is that they lack critical thinking skills, by critical thinking I mean getting to the root cause of a problem. This protest should be about doing away with the current unitary (quasi federal) system we are running, as it is the cause of most of our woes as a nation. Tinubu's regime simply drained the swamp and we as a nation were caught swimming naked...the question we should be asking is how we got to where we are? what went wrong?
Nigeria can be likened to an 8 cylinder engine in which only one of the cylinders is firing. A good mechanic should be asking what is that makes the other cylinders not to fire; no matter who the driver is or how many times you change the driver, that vehicle will never perform well.
Nigeria itself as nation is one giant subsidy, it is a nation that runs on subsidies; ask yourself what is it that Sokoto, Borno, or Jigawa state contributes to nation's coffers? yet these same state expects to draw allocation from the federal government every month, same can be said for most of the other states - 36 states, 200 million people with zero or very little productivity, which means the FG is subsidizing almost all the 36 states, on top of that we expect cheap petrol, affordable power, good infrastructure, good tertiary institutions, etc, all with little or no tax.....it is impossible. As the saying goes, its a "pay me now or pay me later" kind of deal, at some point we will to come face to face with our demons.
Truth is unlike developed nations that are structured for productivity and to complete in the global economy, Nigeria is simply structured to share oil money. When we truly become a productive nation the exchange rate of the Naira will strengthen (imagine hypothetically that 1 Naira = $1, you will not be crying about the price of petrol), food will be abundant, insecurity will reduce, and the overall quality of life will improve. great nations were built on the basis of hardwork, if we continue with this oil money sharing constitution we are operating nothing will change as a matter of fact thing wiil continue to worsen. Nonsense! Is it ur family members dat are unproductive and useless? Or what rubbish are u saying! We av many hardworking people in factories, private schools, farms, security posts, sites, etc But instead of demanding mur from d animalistic rulers dat control inec and d courts in partnership wit sum other vampires in d private sec, u deny dat nigerians are paying tax! What bunkum |

Brendaniel: I can tell you with so much confidence that it will not work with people like you who will still drag tribalism into it, it is not about the age like you are trying to paint it...
Are you saying all the young people are good and will perform better and are you saying all the old people are bad and will perform worse?
Wrong assertion there, just admit people like fvcked up supporting someone like Tinubu and he has failed you guys badly, if you guys could not pick the best among the old ones, what is the guarantee there that you will pick the best among the young ones?
No politician is the same anyhwere in the world , their performance and results will always be different, so don't bring that nonsense assertion that all politicians are the same, they are not...
That's why I know what you are saying will fail badly because the same reasons you picked Tinubu is the same reason you will pick a younger person, age doesn't define goodness or evil... So he must admit he voted or supported tinubu Cuz you have evidence that he did |

How can any sane human advocate for 6 years term for a Nigerian president, we are saying that 4 years is suicidal you people are talking about six years, Do you know a bad governance of six years can cause a life time destruction of a country??,The 14 years buhari and Tinubu destruction of this country, do you know millions of Destinies have been destroyed or lost for life?? A child who did not go to school for 15years does that child have any possibilities of going to school again? A child who graduated from secondary school since 2015, may be still waiting for a possible change in governance so that he or she can afford to go to university does that child have any possibilities of going to university any more since this terrible 14year??People who who support all this things should at least, use there brain for once, if possible president should serve only for 3 years, so that we will know the suffering has a limited time... Bebigiby1: The reason why the police is able to brutalize and intimidate protesters is because of low turn out for this protest..... Many Nigerians are too selfish and tribalistic to support any movement that will move this country forward.... Based on lessons I learnt from attending the previous protest, I knew that this will happen as nothing will change if the protest is not massively supported by Nigerians within the 36 states.... It is a shame that majority of Nigerians can not come out to protest when fuel price is over N1500 per litre, Naira above N1700 to $1, high rate of insecurity and outrageous increases in prices of goods and services.... Tinubu's evil government may eventually destroy the country since majority of Nigerians prefer to be selfish, tribalistic and like religious sentiments over good governance.... Nonsense! Y not provide majority arms 2 force tinubu out of nigeria! Or protection from these armed men! U keep dodging these questions as d truly selfish person so i wonder how ur concerns are GENUINE! U think insulting people u never knew and will never know shows care! U keep saying tinubu must be held responsible! Does holding him responsible bring the dead back 2 life! U dont really care! Romance › Re: How A Man Died 3 Days Ago In Badawa by HellVictorinho8(m): 5:18am On Oct 01, 2024 |
HerrDamilord: A man in Kano went to a foodseller. He had not eaten in 3 days. He begged the seller for food on credit.
The foodseller told him he’s very sorry and he would like to help but too many people in the neighbourhood have collected food on credit and his business is sinking.
The man sat there and said nothing.
As time went on, other people came into the shop to buy foodstuff and went out- they noticed the man at the door sitting there sleeping. But nobody bothered.
Until one man came later in the day and asked the foodseller: “who is the man sitting at your door?” “Why is he there?”
Then the foodseller said “oh it’s a man who says he has not eaten for 3 days and he wants to collect food on credit but I could not give him because my business is struggling from all the credit I have already given out”.
Then the other man said: “How much is the food he wants?”
The food seller said “It’s a few cups of garri, rice and beans. Everything may be 2,000 naira”.
The other man said “Alright pack everything he wants and more. I would pay for it. Let him go home to his family and eat”.
The foodseller packed all the food and went outside to tell the man with joy that someone has paid for his food.
He saw the man still sleeping. He tapped him to wake him up, he didn’t respond. Tapped him again, nothing.
The man had died. He died sitting and waiting for help.
This happened just few days ago in Badawa, Kano. Some people who live in that area know this story.
The man was dead all along while people were coming in and out of the shop thinking he was sleeping.
He died hopeless. He died helpless. He died a man who his country failed.
If you know anyone in this period who is hungry around you and you can afford a little food or money to give him/her, please do.
Many people are walking the streets with an empty stomach.
Please 🙏 the economy is particularly insufferable on low income earners like factory workers. My palmpay is down below. Kindly help with anything you've got. God bless you can u help me to find people that can buy my poetry? |
