Funnily enough, the British were not so aggressive in demonising African traditions in GHANA. That is why in Ghana today the people have an inner strength and calm that comes from a deep connection to their ancestral heritage.

In rural Ghana, and even in cities, you will find many well-built shrines in proper houses, with well-appointed traditional priests presiding over them.
