The cost of clearing tokunbo cars at the port is the issue. The custom duty payment cost increases on a monthly basis. Government see this as a revenue source.

For instance I bought my first car Honda CR-V 2000 model in 2015 for here on Nairaland for N350,000 , now the same car cost N2m
