krall: I don't sleep much. I'd be off soon and back up by 5.30. Daily routine or maybe I'm just used to it.Oh I see. Would that short sleep be sufficient for you? Or maybe you do take a good nap during the day. |
mumu9gerian: i usee to visit the politics section regularly and saw a no of good monickers, of particular interest was one sincerenigerian who was anything but sincere,i then chose to go for the monicker mumu9gerian but will determined to show that ur monicker might not trully portray who you are but u can still make people see the real you,so thats the story and may i ask why HfOGYou asked why HFOG not what's HFOG. Does that mean you know the what? For the why my middle name translates to God's grace and that means unmerited favour. |
LordReed: Kool. You must love kids.Yes I do, dear brother. With the whole of me. |
krall: Madam HFOG is the baby keeping you awake? Not exactly. Just fed her. She's slept back. I'll sleep back too very soon. What's keeping you awake yourself? |
Specialist900: I think it's only the come, go and eat she'll know in Yoruba. Many tks, Mr |
krall: a very satisfactory answer. Sorry for making you type a "long sermon"Glad you're satisfied. Tks for asking. |
OLAADEGBU: No. Just a follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. We should appoint you as our pastor here. Great work you're doing. The Lord bless you sir. Is there anything you wish to ask? |
DollyParton1: May I come in?Yes ma'am. You're specially welcome. Isn't there any nairalander you wish to ask a question? |

Obinoscopy: I'm doing a postgraduate programme and a bachelor's degree programme consecutively. Both are to upgrade my profession as a pharmacist and as a public health expert respectively.waoh! Very cool. You must be a bookwarm. I love reading myself as long as it's not acada. :-) Wishing you all the best my dear. May Naija and her infamous strikes not slow you down. |
Specialist900: it's ok. Your baby will automatically not speak Yoruba.Yeah at least not to an appreciable level. But she'll pick the little Yoruba I say once in a while. Hausa and my lord's dialet is priority for her. He has started speaking to her. I trust she catch it and maybe I would too |
Obinoscopy: AS you mean (Altruistic)? lol, don't mind me. What I meant is that I'm selfless. I am trying to reduce it though.Ok. AS: Curious AW: Languages Tag: Specialist900 |
Obinoscopy: AW: I'm not a good phone callerDidn't get what that your big English in your AW mean. |
Specialist900: did you just also list Yoruba? Chai...... But you do eat Hausa foods (fura de nunu comes to mind)Yes oh, I mentioned Yoruba and you can imagine that I'm from the west yet my Yoruba is nothing to write home about. I used to take fura once in a while but it's been so so long now. I like tuwo chinkafa and kunnu by the way |
Obinoscopy: Yikes! Apologies, I had to tend to many issues. Some are nairaland related (as a supermod, a mod and as a member), the others are academics related. What do you mean by academics? |
Obinoscopy: Yikes! Apologies, I had to tend to many issues. Some are nairaland related (as a supermod, a mod and as a member), the others are academics related. It's a workbook series for our nursery pupils. Supermod? What does that mean? Sounds like serious work. |
Specialist900: I didn't chase you o.Picking languages is a great weakness for me. It is almost unimaginable that I'm very poor in all languages apart from English. The thing don tire me sef. I have no excuse not to have learnt Hausa, Yoruba and French at least. I've had so much exposure to them and several opportunities. But alas... |
cirmuell: yeah, sorry about that. Not sure I'll be able to answer all the questions though!Alright then. |
harlos: uhI'm sorry pls. |
Krall: a thought just occurred to me. I think I can relate this to helping someone with cash or anything he or she needs. I can't do that without his consent. It's something I've had to learn consciously. All he has is mine and I am his. Ever heard of the woman who went to court for a divorce? Her husband and her were asked to declare their possessions. After she finished itemizing hers, she almost left him with nothing. When it was his turn he thought hard and said his only possession is his wife. Everyone bursted into laughter and the case closed. All I'm trying to say is marriage is all about oneness. It wasn't easy for me initially but now I even find it hard to make decisions without his counsel. Not like he is perfect but he's God's choice for me and we're working at becoming one flesh day in, day out. I hope this helps. Sorry for the long sermon, it wasn't intentional. |
harlos: if there is love naDoes your religion permit it? |
krall: by his judgment do you mean your lord(man)? Or your LORD(GOD)?(I knew you would surely refer to your superior) And if he says, "HFOG, host him if YOU want, I don't care" ??I mean my lord (husband). He's not that kind of person. Marriage is a union. It has to do with complete unity. He wouldn't leave me to make that kind of important decision alone. If I notice that he's reluctant to give his approval, I wouldn't get involved either. It's either we're in it together or we let it go altogether. But let's assume for a minute that I was unmarried. I wouldn't host you. I wasn't brought up that way. Even my male friends then dare not come over. I mean there's enough temptation around do we have to help the enemy? |
cirmuell: yeah! Just call and i will answerOk. Are you disposed to answering questions? Remember I had to be struggling with mailing you the last time. |
OLAADEGBU: I've been in the U.K. for...a looong time now.Are you a pastor? |
Obinoscopy: Awwww, so sorry. Nairaland could be a huge distraction atimes. But I see it as a good distractionAlright sir. Hope you do not keep me waiting for long. |
harlos: hmmm,... I dunno if I can oAlright. Was just wondering because a number of you guys do |
krall: so assuming I am to come to bauchi tomorrow and you are the only person I know there(which you are btw), would you be able to shelter me for a day based on how you only know me here? Give reasonsI would talk it over with my lord and we'll prayerfully decide on hosting you or not. I trust his judgement much more than mine so whatever he decides would work out just fine. |
Specialist900: the Internet abi NL can really steal time sha. Take care of baby oTrue. I should get back to work. Many thanks |
Obinoscopy: Are you working presently?Yes. Writing a book and this month is the dead line. But I'm finding myself distracted. |
cirmuell: you can have the latter anytime you want it.Am I to believe that? |
harlos: capital letter YES!Oh I see. Do you mind marrying a Christian lady? |
krall: you seem like a very nice person. Where are you based?Tks for the kind words. I stay in Bauchi |
