Advantages of plasterboard pop
1. have a long lifespan
2. always have a good finish
3. easy to repair or Maintain
4 the ceiling can be pull off and still able to used 60% of the materials back
5 give room for alot of activities inside the ceiling and make provision for factor fitted access panel


Disadvantages of plasterboard

it's more expensive

it's not easy to find outside Lagos, oyo, Rivers,Abuja and Anambra

There must be light on site because alot of power tools will be used


NOTE
The price it's for both materials and labour and the price can go up if the quantity of the job it's not much and for the plasterboard it's excluding cornice and ceiling rose

you can still give an overview of the cost out lay may be using Lagos or wherever you base as the index.

More so, I am sure yöu must have handle jobs outside you location, you can use the parameters you mention to state some price.

for casting(local pop) it's 3500 per Square meter within Lagos outside Lagos it's 4000

while for the plasterboard(imported) it's 5500 within Lagos and outside Lagos it's between 6000 to 6500 depends on the location


Advantages of local or casting pop

1 it's more cheaper than plasterboard
2 it's can be used to form more design than plasterboard
3. No need of electricity or generator on site


Disadvantage of casting pop

1 have short lifespan before it start to crack

2 not easy to repair

3 can easily pull off.

4 not the best when you have alot of activities going on inside the ceiling
