The old testament was the shadows of things to come which was fulfilled in the coming of the Messiah who is Christ. The old testament is a ceremonial aspect of the new testament, it's just the shadow of things, not the main thing. Jesus haven come to the earth began to teach us the real will and purpose of God for the man which Moses couldn't have been able to do since him too was imperfect. In one of his teachings Jesus began to declare that it is not only when you sleep with a woman that you have committed fornication or adultery with her but when you look at a woman lustfully. This was not so in the old testament. In the old you have to engage in the real act first before it can be called fornication or adultery. In the old it was also permitted to marry more than one wife by the law of Moses but when Jesus came he said it is not so, a man should marry one wife; for male and female made he them. This is the reason why the old testament can not be used to build a doctrine. It was just a shadow of things to come not the real thing or the real substance. Christ is the real substance. Moses himself is a man and can not deliver anyone from sin so he is a type of Christ in the old testament which is only a shadow of the real Christ who can deliver from sin to come. You don't say someone have touched you just because his or her shadow touched you; no, it will take the real person to appear after seeing the shadow. And ofcourse the satisfaction comes from demons not even from yourself or from God, because no human being have the ability to satisfy self. It takes a spirit to satisfy a man. That spirit could be either God or demons. You are also wasting semen or wasting life when you masturbate.

Do you remember what God did in the old testament? A brother was supposed to raise children for his brother after he inherited his brother's wife as a result of death. While he was with the woman on bed he remembered that this child will not be his but his brothers' so he spilled the sperm on the ground instead of putting it in to the woman. The Lord saw it and smote him to death. That is a very clear example of masturbation in the Bible. Stop been a waster my friend!

Your twenties and thirties are formative years. The church you plant yourself in during this season will shape your faith, your thinking, and your future.

Here are five types of churches every young person should run from.

1. The Church That Calls Every Problem a Spiritual Attack

In this church, nothing is ever just normal.
You failed an exam? It's the spirit of failure. You can't find a job? Demons in your village are fighting you. You are sick? It's a generational curse. Your relationship ended? Someone is doing juju against you.
Instead of analyzing what you are doing wrong and adjusting, you are fighting an enemy in the spirit realm while the real problem sits in your habits, your choices, your preparation.

You start believing God has abandoned you to attackers. Every problem becomes proof that you are under siege. You live in constant fear, seeing demons in every disappointment.

Yes, spiritual warfare is real, it is so real but so is personal responsibility. Wisdom knows when to pray and when to study. When to fast and when to see a doctor. A church that never teaches you the difference is setting you up for a life of passivity and paranoia.


2. The Church That Says You Can 'Only' Be Blessed 'Only' Through Sowing Seeds

Need a job? Sow a seed. Need a child? Sow a seed. Need academic excellence? Sow a seed. Need financial breakthrough? Sow a seed.

Every problem has one solution: give money.

This is not faith. This is a ponzi scheme with Bible verses attached.

GOD does not run a transaction business. Sowing should come from a heart that wants to expand God's kingdom not from a desperate person trying to bribe heaven into answering a prayer.

If you are a young person in this church, you will be convinced to pour your small salary into seeds for breakthrough instead of investing in your skills, your education, or your savings. You will give money you don't have, believing that your next gift is the one that finally unlocks your miracle.

God gives seed to the sower. He is the source not your return on investment. A relationship with GOD is not a business deal. Any church that treats it like one is using you and will keep you small.


3. Any Church That Makes You Feel Rich People Are Bad People

Some churches preach in a way that makes you believe every wealthy person is either an occultist, a criminal, or someone who sold their soul to the devil. Money becomes automatically associated with evil. If you have money, you must have done something wrong. If you are poor, you are automatically righteous.

This teaching sounds spiritual. It sounds like it is defending GOD and standing for holiness. But it is actually dangerous, especially for a young person who is trying to build a future.

Why This Is Dangerous
'You cannot become what you despise'.

If deep down you believe that rich people are wicked, you will unconsciously sabotage yourself every time you start making progress. You will feel guilty for wanting more. You will be afraid that success will turn you into the kind of person you have been taught to hate. So you stay small because you have been programmed to fear wealth.

You cannot pray for what you condemn.

You cannot kneel down and ask GOD for financial breakthrough while in your heart you believe that those who have money are criminals. That is a divided heart. GOD is not confused. You are asking for something you have already judged as evil. That prayer will not work because your own belief system is fighting against it.

Many wealthy people got there through:

· Discipline and delayed gratification
· Years of learning and skill development
· Smart investments and financial literacy
· Solving problems that people are willing to pay for
· Building businesses that employ others
· Consistent hard work over many years


4. Churches That Make You Always Pray for a Destiny Helper

Some churches teach that your success in life depends on one mysterious person a "destiny helper" who will suddenly appear and change your life. So every service, every prayer meeting, every vigil, you are crying out for a destiny helper to locate you.

"Father, connect me to my destiny helper."
"Lord, send me a helper from above."
"Any man or woman that will change my story, let them find me this month."

Why this is dangerous is that it replaces personal responsibility with passive waiting.

Instead of learning a skill, you are waiting for a helper. Instead of applying for jobs, you are waiting for a helper. Instead of saving and investing, you are waiting for a helper. Instead of building your network and adding value to people, you are waiting for a helper.

You become spiritually lazy but emotionally convinced that you are doing the right thing. You are not lazy you are praying. But prayer without works is dead (James 2:26).

While you are praying for miracle alert, miracle money, miracle job, miracle husband, miracle wife, miracle visa, there are people your age learning:

· How to budget and save
· How to invest
· How to build a business
· How to negotiate a salary
· How to develop marketable skills
· How to network effectively
· How to manage their time and resources


5. The Church That Demands Unquestioning Obedience to Leadership

In this church, the pastor is GOD'S only mouthpiece for your life.
You are told not to question. Not to think too hard. Not to leave because leaving is rebellion against GOD HIMSELF. They control who you date, what career you pursue, where you live, what you wear. Your personal convictions are dismissed if they don't align with the pastor's.

The pastor becomes a mediator between you and God. You can't hear God for yourself anymore you need to go through him.

As a young person, this stunts your growth. You never learn to hear GOD'S voice for yourself. You never develop discernment. You become dependent on a human being instead of the Holy Spirit.
Any church that punishes questions is afraid of what you will find. Any leader who can't be questioned shouldn't be followed.

I’m someone who isn’t ashamed of being single.

I’m 36, and I’ll be 37 in December.

The honest truth is that I’m single. I’m not currently dating anyone. It’s not because I don’t ask women out—I do. But I’m not someone who enjoys talking too much, and sometimes the thought of having to constantly communicate, explain myself, and maintain a relationship feels stressful to me. Maybe that is one of the reasons I have remained single for this long.

My lifestyle is also very regimented. I have a routine that is so predictable that someone can almost tell when I’m at home and when I’m not.

Money is another major issue.

I currently earn ₦200,000 a month before tax, and I don’t have a side hustle at the moment. Sometimes I look at my income and wonder how I’m supposed to build the kind of life people expect from someone approaching 40.

I have even lied about being in a relationship when I know I’m not.

I’ve told people I have two children, even though I have never had children. I did it because I wanted people to stop asking questions and putting pressure on me. But ironically, while trying to escape other people’s expectations, I think I have ended up putting even more pressure on myself.

For a long time, I genuinely enjoyed being single.

The peace was beautiful.

No relationship drama. No constant explanations. No arguments. No pressure.

But lately, that peace is beginning to feel like loneliness.

I miss having someone.

And that is difficult for me to admit.

Another thing about me is that I give up easily on relationships. I can enter a relationship today and, a month later, lose interest and walk away without even properly explaining to the woman why I’m leaving.

I know that isn't a good quality.

My life has also been somewhat of a slow journey.

I started school at 11. I finished secondary school at 22. I completed tertiary education at 32. I started my teaching job earning ₦20,000 a month, and today, at 36, I earn ₦200,000.

You would think that increasing my income would make life easier.

But every time my income increases, inflation seems to move the goalpost.

What used to feel like enough no longer feels like enough.

And then there is friendship.

I have always struggled with keeping friends. Even as a child, I realised I didn't really have a flair for friendship. Today, I honestly don't have anyone I can confidently call my close friend.

I even remember a time when I would give people money just so they would play with me.

Looking back, that hurts.

I don't drink. I don't smoke. I don't party. I don't womanise.

At work, I joke around, interact with people and eat good food. From the outside, I probably look like someone who is doing just fine.

But deep down, there is a part of me that genuinely misses being in a relationship.

I can go an entire month without making or receiving a personal phone call. Most of the calls I receive or make are work-related because I’m one of the leaders at my workplace.

Sometimes I wonder how I got here.

I don't think I’m a bad person.

I don't think I’m unattractive.

I don't think I’m incapable of loving someone.

Maybe I just became too comfortable being alone.

Maybe I have built such a structured and independent life that making room for another person now feels difficult.

Or maybe I simply haven't figured out how to balance my personality, finances, career, friendships and relationships.

I don't know.

But lately, being single doesn't feel as peaceful as it used to.

It is starting to feel a little boring.

Men in their 30s who don't drink, smoke, party or womanise.

Men who have very few or no close friends.

Men who have become so comfortable being alone that they don't know how to let someone into their lives.

Men who are not necessarily unhappy, but deep down, still miss having someone to come home to.

I’d really like to hear from you.

There is a part of you that say you are called and separated by God. And there is yet a part of you that says you are suffering from pride or too afraid to engage women or you are suffering from been rejected. Beyond all the characters you presented that we read you are the only one that knows the truth about you. I know that the country is bad but 200k a month is not that too bad to start a family. Remember, the woman may still be working or doing a little business so you still have an advantage there. Ask yourself what truly do I want? Apart from the pressures or whatever anyone may be saying just tell yourself what you truly want. Secondly, in prayers ask God to know if he has called you which is why you find yourself naturally separated or alone somehow and having not much words. As for me, I respect people who don't talk much wether to women or to men. And there are also women who likes men who don't talk much. So I don't see it as a problem. You need to tell yourself what you want first and then confirm if God wills it for you. Then you are good to go.
