Britain took over the whole region from the ottoman empire by WW1 . Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, and Israel/Palestine are ALL parts of the former ottoman empire.

You also did not know that the whole region of modern Israel was originally relatively to current population sparsely populated by a mixture of Jews , Christians and Arabs before 1948 because it was a barren desert land. Establishment of Israel as a nation in 1948 with the influx of Jews from Europe who brought in large capitals from selling off their properties brought in a large influx of Arabs into the so called Gaza strip and West bank.


AND it seems that you didn't also know that in 2005, the Israeli government evicted Jewish settlers from Gaza as part of its "Disengagement Plan" under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The goal was to withdraw Israeli settlements and military presence from the Gaza Strip, effectively ceding control to the Palestinian Authority (which was later taken over by Hamas in 2007).
