I really like ur thinking,BUT,the spaces that will not be payed for before the deadline will be forfeited,it gives the other students(those who are not freshers),the opportunity to ballot for those spaces.. Pls note: being allocated to an hostel does NOT mean you have a bed-space there.. The bed space in each hostel are limited.. Out of those limited spaces,a percentage is cut out for freshers to fight for.. 1000 freshers might be allocated to Jaja hall but their might be only 300 bed-space.. Bottom line: freshers balloting and allocation is over and over.. Whatever space is left-over only gives other non-freshers an opportunity and increases their chances of getting bed-space since the freshers forfeited theirs.. However, DON'T RULE OUT A SECOND BALLOT FOR FRESHERS.

again sum students dont want d sch hostels they prefer 2 rent am apartment. if u remember all freshers were allocated 2 HOR, nw those spaces dat r yet 2 be occupied wil b occupied by our own category of student thru d 2nd ballot. I hope i make sense here.

it means dat presently there are no more spaces for our own category, it is posible dat sum students will nt pay 4 their spaces dereby making spaces available 4 d 2nd balloting 4 our own category.
