Omo, na wa o! This kind wahala ehn, e fit give person serious headache. First off, e good say the passport na genuine one, but the main kasala be say if the travel agent use corner-corner way get the visa and e come backfire, e dey complex small.

The koko be say, normally, na the person wey own the passport suppose carry the cross if anything go south because na your name dey there. But this situation dey dicey because if you no know say the agent do mago-mago, e mean say your own be say you just fall victim to bad belle agent.

However, immigration no dey want hear story; dem go just dey see am like say you and the agent na padi for the matter. Na why e dey important to dey double check and ask questions whenever you dey use agent for visa matters. Make sure say all the documents and process dey transparent and legit.

If na me, I go advise say make you try reason with the immigration people, explain give dem say you no know about the yama-yama wey the agent do. E fit help if you fit provide evidence say you think say the process na legit one from your side.

Next time, abeg, make you dey very careful with who dey handle your travel documents. Some of these agents dey after their own pocket no be your safety. E better to do your homework well-well before you waka enter any deal o. Make e no be say na so you go dey carry wahala wey you no know about.

It is u that knows u used an agent .....embassy doesn't know agent....... To the embassy or authorities ...it's the owner of the passport that committed immigration infraction and will pay the penalty...

and after investigation and found the d fella is just a victim like most visa related issue.

If a travel agent does visa for u, ur passport is genuine (inbtw) u get the visa u travel n returned, when d passport expire u wanted to do renew it, immigration said the passport as been blacklisted because d visa u acquired b4 leaving had issue, one or two of d document d travel agent summitted was red flag, is the fella who got in touch with d agent at fault also??
