Ringstonermasks:You can't justify the killing of 16000 innocent Palestinians due to the atrocities caused by few individual. It is totally unfair to kill innocent Palestinians because of atrocities caused by Hamas Hamas should pay the price not innocent Palestinians Should residents in Borno state be killed as well because it is the home base of boko haram. |

You all just believe because you are on social media and you are free to do whatever you wish to do. |
This is so bad The atrocities been done against the Palestine is sadden. Their only offence was because they were Palestine. May Allah protect every Palestine on the earth surface |
Islam is the most beautiful religion on earth. Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam. Zakat is a means of distributing part of your wealth among the less privilege. That is the purpose of Ramadan During the month of Ramadan, you realize the pain the poor and the needy pass through then after the month of Ramadan, it is then obligatory for every Muslim who is financially sufficient to give out zakat. |

There is more to this The level of public damage is getting out of control Both Natasha and Akpabio needs to be call to order. As it seems, Natasha is ready to tarnish Akpabio's reputation which is not good for the image of Nigeria. |
Our politicians should do the needful by fixing the economy for the betterment of an average Nigerian How is this going to benefit the masses Some corrupt officials will use this as an avenue to siphon the money meant for the less privilege into their private pocket |
This is highly commendable. State government should replicate this in their state capital. We need more of this in various state capitals. |
KonteYoruba:I don't even know who helinues is Some part of lagos like ikorodu, epe, ikeja and badagry was part of the old western region. Google is your friend |
Obaaderemi2:You are getting it wrong Western Nigeria originally consists of lagos, mid west and the western region Western Nigeria was spitted into three region, unlike the east that was intact The western Nigeria you are seeing on that chart consists of just five predominantly Yoruba state while eastern Nigeria consists of nine state which also include state owned by the Ijaw, Efik, Ibibio etc. If western Nigeria was not splitted, it would have consists of eight state in which it figure would have surpasses that of the east. |
It doesn't still matter Trying to change the wrong perception people think of the slave trade is not going to change the fact that Africans sold their fellow Africans into slavery to the white men for mere items. The white men could not enslave their own kind but decided to enslave Africans because they felt they were more superior to we Africans in which our forefathers actually proved to them by selling millions of individual they shared the same skin colour with into slavery. The most shameful aspect of the slave trade is that, all this while the slave trade was taking place, none of the slave traders which were mostly Africans could not speak against it because of their selfish interest. Enslaved african in the americas fought against the cruelty of slavery with the help of the British, who were white, their voices were heard and slave trade was successfully abolished Am so certain if the British who assisted in abolishing slave trade were blacks, slavery would have continued to the 20th century. After the abolition, Africans slave traders still participate in it illegally which is very painful. But when the issue of slave trade is been discussed, we are so quick in playing the victim game and forgotten the greed of our forefathers that made them sold millions of Africans into slavery Today we accuse the white of racism yet we do worse things to ourselves. We hate each other, fight each other, traffick one other, exploit one another and oppress the weak. That is why Afrca is so backward and poor despite being the continent with the most natural resources. The earlier our leaders and will their followers let go off our selfish interest the better. |

What most people from the east don't know is that both the yorubas and the Hausas have their architectural design just like the Europeans. When you go to most cities in the north and you are in the ancient part of these cities, you will notice the ancient part of these cities consist of old houses with a particular architectural design, likewise most cities in south west. These is an evidence of early civilisation. Europe, which is the most civilised continent in the world today has alot of old cities due to the fact that there was an ancient civilisation in the past. The difference between Europe and Southwest is that most of the old buildings in Europe is being renovated, maintained and redesigned in other to look attractive and to promote tourism. But in south west these old buildings are not maintained or even abandoned and are left to dilapidate. If the people of southwest can exhibit the culture of renovating and maintaining these old buildings in other to make it conducive for living just like the Europeans most cities in southwest would look so beautiful. These are examples of yoruba architectural designs. These architectural designs are part of the yoruba heritage that needs to be preserved.

Congratulations to them United state is a country where individual's hard work is being appreciated. Your contributions and efforts in making making their society a better place is highly appreciated. Unlike Nigeria, even as a professor you will be owed salary and your salary will be upheld if you dare speak for your right. It is frustrating being a professor in Nigeria. Because your qualifications means nothing to the Nigerian government. |
South west has always been the home of most prestigious universities in Nigeria In terms of Education Southwest leads others follow |
Nigeria was good then but most Nigerians then don't know |

Some still think we are stii in the stone age when you will oppress your fellow human and have your way. If most people know the power of social media, they will be very careful before carrying any act. |
