Sometimes, when you're doing things all by yourself, you might be doing it the wrong way.
Ofcourse you shouldn't wait for people to push you before taking steps to achieve your goals and make your life worth it.
I always thought life was so mean and unfair, I always thought life was all about living hopelessly every single day, I felt I actually knew what tommorow had to offer even though they said nobody knows tommorow.
I lived my boring life just like every other day, but I wasn't the type to give up, I hated the life I lived, I hated the paths I chose willingly because even though I did choose to walk those paths, I really had no choice.
I walked every path nervous and scared, some days I would scream and yell, it was tiring, frustrating, it was painful. It didn't feel like I was in hell, it felt like hell was in me.
My heart is in pain and my scars shine bright as they scream my story, you cannot win if you let your hurt define you but I had failed to realize that, I walked shamelessly clothed in pity wishing that someone somewhere would take off this burden from my shoulder.
But now, now I live a different life, now my body screams a different story, it says I'm strong, it's say I can get through anything, it says I can overcome everything. It's not because I'm great, it's not because I put my mind to it, it's because now I have people who give me reasons to see a different tommorow.
Now I have realized that tommorow is indeed a mystery, it may seem the same, it may seem unchanging but everyday something is happening whether or not you're aware of it.
My life is not filled with happiness and the burdens on my shoulder did not just vanish, my heart still hurts and my body still aches but it's a lot easier now.
When I get scared, I know I'm not alone, when I'm happy and sad, they are people I can always share every problem with, every good news with.
And when I'm nervous, I get a hug, words of encouragement, smiles and my heart is at ease.
Now, the hell is less hotter and i did not see it coming, tommorow is indeed a mystery.

I hated my father with so much passion, anyone would say he had done nothing wrong but to me, he was worst than the devil.
My mother might have been the one who caused me pain but I resent my father and I forever will.
He who turns a blind eye to an abuse, is worst than the abuser.
Growing up, my mother raised me her own way
"Keep your head high and raise your shoulders high, cross your legs and walk with pride..one step after the other.."
My neck hurts from keeping my head up but my mother never thought me how to breathe. I was told to not mingle with livestocks, yes livestocks. My mother said humans were livestocks and I was meant to trample, betray and eliminate any that posed as a competition to me without guilt because you do not feel guilty when you eat chicken or goat meat.
So I kept my head high and no matter how bad it hurt I could never lower my shoulders because my mother said they would kick my head and smash my head if I let my guard down.
You must be wondering why I hate my father so much when my mother was the one who led me through this path.
While my mother raised me her own way, all my father did was read me a bedtime story once. I cried for help, I begged my father to take me with him whenever he was leaving, I was terrified, lonely, scared but I dare not cry out because it would make my mother mad and I did not want to be a bad daughter.
My father never came to my rescue. But you see, even though my father read me a bedtime story just once, I could never forget, I still remember every sentence and every word even though I was just 10. It was the story of the cheerful dog who was sad inside but made everyother person around him happy, the cheerful dog was tied to a tree and desperately wanted to be free.

I would always sit in front of the mirror as my mother brushed my hair.
