I have used the registered mail service before in sending to canada, some time ago. It is good I know. Note that I referred to a less expensive sending option before, and dat was with registered mail in mind. But my considerations are as follows

1. You cannot guarantee the safety/insurance of your package. I haven't sent a mobile phone before via nipost registered mail.
2. I first have to send this to my nairaland shippers address, and then he in turn sends out to the seller from his (and my default) primary shipping address

I'm not sure if its possible by ebay standards to send directly from Nigeria to the Sellers Address

The decision is yours, but as for my own I send it directly From NG to the seller using my primary address haven't explain that I am an international buyer that the shipping address I 1st received the item with is that of a freight fowarder who forward it to my country
As regard delivery guarantee I think u have to take the risk. And whatever the outcome is so be it but it deliver in most cases.

Item is already in Nigeria. Nairaland shipper I used (not chinosxl) will not care to carefully scrutinise its working b4 shipping it).

Seller argues that he described it adequately during d case, however ebay requested me to return it, and provided a prepaid return shipping label for me to use or use mine if I chose.

Sending it from here to the US via courier is nearly d cost of the refund amount.

Oga go use nipost registered mail service option, it is very cheap and fast with tracking number . When such happens to me. A month a go I use the service and was deliver within 2week from the day I sent it. And I was refunded asap. They collect just 700naira for samsung galaxy 3 mini. It is the only way out highly recommended.

@chinosxl, I just receive my nov 24th invoice, but does not show my hp laptop which has delivered to you since thursday. The invoice include those item that deliver after the laptop. Pls ensure it get ship on nov 24th and update the invoice accordingly. Waiting for you response asap

You are correct but for the bold portion. The G730V model is a CDMA version and does not have a SIM slot so unless you are planning to use it with Visafone or Multilinks, it can not work.

@ibnyakub, don't worry about your mistake. Some of us have made such mistakes and learnt from it. In fact, as recently as about three weeks back, I still made the same mistake again with two phones even with my experience. The only thing is that I got my money back without any hassles. But I think that comes with having a high, 100% positive feedback level. It may not be entirely as a result of the feedback level though, but I think it has something to do with it because in one of the cases, the seller "boned" me completely until eBay stepped in and ruled in my favour. The phones are still with Chinos right now because I can't use them here.

What I would advice you to do is to first check if the seller accepts returns. If he does, then you may consider returning it but you have to consider the time it would take (the return period may be voided by the time he gets it) and the cost. Assuming it was still in the US, no problem. If he doesn't accept returns, click on "Return this item" or "Contact seller". In the "Why do you want to return this item?" drop down, select "It's defective or doesn't work". You MAY (repeat, MAY) be lucky and get at least a partial refund. If not, just leave it and count it as an experience.

Having said that, here are a few pointers on how to avoid a repeat:

One, always do your research well. Use phonearena.com, gsmarena.com, fonearena.com, etc. I prefer phonearena.com because if the phone you are researching has other versions/variants, they will list them all. Bear in mind however, that not all phones that use the GSM spectrum will work in Nigeria (the two cases I had was when I knew this). For instance, some AllTell and US Cellular phones are GSM phones but they don't have SIM slots. Always look for phone from AT&T, T-Mobile, Cingular, Simple Talk, Simple Mobile, etc.

Two, always ask the seller questions. They are always ready to answer your questions and clarify issues (except the dubious ones).

Finally, good luck!

Fortunately when I explain to the seller, he understand because I told him that I am newbies when I order the item that I don't understand what cdma mean then ,i explain further that it will be useless here ,i even offer him 75% refund that it will be ok by me. He said I should send it back to him that I should not mind the expiration of returning period, he promise a full refund whenever the item reach his destination.

My area of headache now is HOW TO GET IT SENT TO HIm IN USA fast and @ affordable price.

suprise suprise, in fact what happen to today was a suprice package by one ebay seller. it happened like this: I won an auction on ebay 12am today precisely BB Q 10, I waited to this morning to complete my checkout but to my surpprise a mail was receive telling me my order has been cancel without any explanation of the action. I contact the seller but has not responded till now.
Experienced bosses what does this mean?
And is their a way of reversing this action by seller because I love this order much
Also is this kind of action accepted by ebay?

·There was no religious crisis while he

before him, and killed all the corrupt

I will try and give you hopefully my last advice on this issue. Go to my ebay in your account. Click on account settings and put in your card's details all over. Also link your PayPal to your eBay account. About $1 will be deducted from your account and the limits will be lifted.
Alternatively, follow the pop up instructions or call ebay and insist on being transferred to their accounts department. Your issue will be sorted out.

Ebay account, we limit the amont of item that can be bought or sold by a single account at one time. You can increase the activity limit on your account by verify some information about urself. An ebay rep will be happy to assist through your secure'. But whenever I bid with computer it will tell me I have unpaid item on my shipping cart that untill I paid I won't be able to bid. However my shipping cart is empty and when I call ebay they said my account is not limited. So I don't know what is realy happening. Kindly advise.

If yes, go ahead and tender it to paypal. Attaching a copy of your ID and including a small note to them stating its your house address and has your dads Bros name as he is the owner of the house.

Sir, I too think it should not be an issue but. even though my father and his brother bear the same surname, I am not bearing there surname but bearing my own fathers name therefore no traces of relation between my registered name and the name on the bill except the address.

Haven't call ebay yesterday to lift my limitation, I reported here today that the limitation has been lifted not knowing that this was I minor as if I just start

It happens today that I won my first auction on ebay, I proceed to the payment section where I was asked to login to my paypal of which I do. waiting for the payment to complete, intead an error message was display and i click on 'contact us' link in the error message. I was directed into my paypal acc where I found out that ny account has been limited.
I follow the step to resolve where now LIE THE MAIN PROBLEM because I was asked to produce a utility bill stating the name and address I used to register the acc.

, the problem I have is that the address I use is our family house addres and the NEPA bill of that house bears the name of my father's brother NOT my own NAME even not my FATHERS name gan paapa.
So my question now is that can I produce such NEPA bill with such contradiction?
Or is there any way of getting so called utility bill aside that of NEPA bill which will bear my name and that address?

Or is there another way of solving this kind of problem

I understand where I am getting it wrong now, the passcode I used was generated around 12am but I called by 3am because then I was unable to generate new passcode as ebay popup as message telling the service was not available then ,so I use the one I have generated at 12am not knowing that it expire after 15minute
