Politics › Re: Obi Joining ADC!!! A Political Suicide, Analysis Without Emotions. by Iceberg3: 10:13am On Jul 04, 2025 |
Sharpsharp00123: Good evening to everyone reading this, I believe by now every political savvy Nigerian knows our political space have been filled with series of events lately.
Just as the topic suggests, this is just a pure analysis on the glaring and obvious mistake of obi that he's minions are yet to see.
Now that obi is in the coalition, I see many obidient saying ADC should read the mood of Nigerians and give obi the ticket and many more but the reality of politics is that you won't get anything on the platter of gold but you will struggle for it.
Either you accept or not, majority of the people in the coalition have vested interest and each will chase his ambition, on this note it is safe to tell my readers that a primary election is inevitable.
Before moving to the primary proper, ask yourself this question?
Will Atiku, Amaechi , and other big wigs bury their ambition for obi?
Some said obi should sign just one term and let Atiku continue, so you think Atiku doesn't know he will be 85 by then?
Hmmmm, there are many genuine questions you have to ask yourself before been excited that obi joined the coalition.
Back to the primary, we all know obidient won't be the delegates to vote but career Politicians who need dollars!!! We all know this is Nigeria politics and without words money is needed.
So on that note, do you believe obi can outspend the ever ambitious Atiku when it comes to dollar sharing?
Once dollars is involved, it's a done deal Atiku is having the ticket n it leaves obi with vice right?
If you think obi will be the flagbearer then you are observing things with emotions, now let's be realistic. Obi as VP won't pull crowd because of the following reasons.
1) APC will use the Fulani sentiment - Buhari just left power and another Fulani is warming up just after 4 years, are they the only Nigerians?
2) The religion sentiment that obi used in the last election will no longer work again because he's now under Atiku and many now see Tinubu as a balanced Nigerian.
3) El rufai in the coalition is a turn of for many, especially southern Kaduna and majority of north central people.
On this note,it's a mistake for obi and at this point he can't even pull out of the coalition again because he will be seen as unstable.
Now what do you people think is the way out? Deeply concerned self appointed minister of Obi affairs |

Maydayy: I do not know if the funds are truly government or personal funds. But, you should never underestimate the power of reputation, influence and goodwill. She could raise 10 billion if she wanted to. The only thing she'd do is to write to all these politicians looking for favours from the president and they'd run coming. I am not a fan of this administration but I know raising 1billion would be child's play for the first lady. Of course..by virtue of their influence and position..but if this was from Patience Jonathan or from Deziani Allison Madueke,I am sure people like you will start another epic epistle. |

Pickieox: Back then, it was all hearsay everywhere then that narrative of Buhari war against indiscipline was top-notch selling during those times until I went down to memory lane, pick some old newspapers, historical journals and book and discover that Buhari is a real devil, and ethnic and a religious big0t, someone who has been quoted for making a lot of inflammatory statements back then. If you remember that these same Buhari went to solicit for his brothers back then in Lagos. There is something wrong with most Nigerians, we too love crowd wisdom. We don't like to verify. Tinubu made sure during that time to buy almost all the media houses buyable then in order to sell Buhari to the masses. And it was later I got to know before the 2015 election that there has been a silent coalition going on orchestrated by Tinubu, one of the reasons why Tinubu will never be in my good books. Exactly. Another sad thing was that, those people who orchestrated and led the protest knew the calibre of a human being Buhari is and they still made way for him! I mean this was a tribalist person who used his powers as military head of state back then to support a Fulani from Niger republic to become then OAU secretary general in place of the Nigerian guy who was the acting secretary general but was from the east! This was somebody who thwarted efforts of them Lagos state gov,I think lateef Jakande to ease Lagos traffic with the introduction of monorails simply cos it was in the south! This was someone who brought in austerity measures so much Nigerians were queuing to buy bread! Bread, sugar, groundnut oil, milk, rice became non essential commodities and state govts had to buy these items for civil servants at subsidized rates for them to survive! We were kids back then and my dad was a civil servant who was bringing such items home, time to time but it was until years later we gotta know and understand the reasons why. Yet same agbalagbas still opened the door for same Buhari! Today only God knows the number of Nigerians his killer herdsmen have slaughtered and she'd the blood! Essential food items have skyrocketed beyond the reach of most Nigerians.....and yet,Nigerians are not willing to change simply cos of religion and tribe!!! It's horrible o |

Pickieox: Whereas, I've known APC before 2015 as a fraud, a party of demons coming to do damage to the Nigeria economy. Some people and I saw it coming, we warn others but they say our mouth was smelling. Nigerians enjoy your APC. Bro it's such a horrible thing. Religion and tribe will definitely kill everyone in Nigeria unless God shows mercy again. I mean, Nigerians, with their eyes open, embraced a failure like Buhari!!!! May God have mercy for the sake of the very few with conscience |

I mean, how could you people hope for genuine change from a known and certified failure?
Now,you all are in a serious one-chance govt...
The govt is only interested in consolidating it's hold unto power, nothing else. |

If you people find it ok to remain silent under such killings and maybe out of fear, then allow others who wanna voice out do their thing.
