In case you don't know.. there are many Northerners (both Christians and Muslims) in the Military fighting tirelessly on Government side for years now to secure their lands and territories from internal and external terrorist activities. They share no ties or sentiments with those killing their people like Igbos are doing today.
nobody is talking about that,and there are equally eastern military personnel doing same all over the country,you are not making any sense at all

The North has vast land, reason there are minor challenges in combating the insurgency there but in the South East, it's the people that are stumbling block for insurgency not to be dislodged, people like your Hon. Reps calling for release of murderers and killers, trying all they can to undermine and down the morale of our gallant soldiers.

It's like this punch journalist is new on the job. Even if, the editor should have done something about this shoddy reportage before putting out the story. The term fatally stabbed should only be used when the victim did not survive the stabbing which is not the case here. The police spokesperson sef no try, how can you be pleased to announce a stabbing? Even if the victim survived, what is so pleasing about the situation? People in charge of dissemination of information need to be very careful with how they use words.

Let Governmemt sanction private security outfits to join the fight against kidnapping.. there are private Military contractors who can get the job done with state-of-the-art technologies including drones.. it's not everything they must publicize or use to chase clout.

There are many widows and orphans in Nigeria now due to Government's inactions and inability to checkmate this evil that has befallen our nation. I'm starting to think some of these highly placed politicians are stakeholders in this bo0ming crime business of kidnapping.
You can't tell me that with Police, Army, NAF, Civil defense, Legions, Amotekun etc. etc.. they can't tackle this menace.
See how Lagos Security are responding to this threat compared to what likes of Ondo and Oyo Stattes are doing. It's really sad I tell you.

My candid advice to South West leaders.. engage the OPC, Agbekoya and other Forest guards to comb all the forests in the South West and dislodge kidnappers operating in South West.. I honestly don't know whether they placed a curse of "docility" on Yoruba people.
These are Yorubas getting killed like chickens and many abducted never to be seen again by their family members.
The rate they are killing and abducting travellers along Ondo, Oyo axis is really terrible.. I know cases like that in the past week that have fallen into the hand of those daredevils operating freely in our forest and many more are still falling victims.

The truth is that they're not yet ready to protest. Real protests are never planned or advertised. In fact, the 2020 so-called ENDSARS protest that they even printed banners and fliers is a joke. Ask the British what they learned about the Aba and Calabar women of 1929. They'll tell you what a real protest looks like. When Nigerians are truly hungry and tired of the mess the country has become, even the protest will have no organizer. Not a tribe or a class. In the meantime, bear in mind that if it is based on natural selection, you, as Onye Igbo, are a natural survivor. Simply face and protect your business. Say no to the protest, and let the dead bury their own dead.
