GLeesMODEL: It indeed a night of fun and overwhelming memories as the Miss United Nigeria pageant took centre stage at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Abuja last Saturday. The event which paraded over 45 contestants on stage had Nigeria's top sports Ambassador and obviously the star of the night as the Chief Judge. Amb. John Fashanu popularly known as FASH spearheaded the judges table which was applauded for its high level of credibility especially with regards to the worthy winners that emerged that night. For a very long time in a pageant setting, the audience went home satisfied with the verdict of the judges. The Nigerian born British citizen and international media impresario is not a greenhorn in the business of pageantry as he was among the judges at the recent Miss World beauty pageant held in South and one held in England years ago. Fash who displayed high level of simplicity and professionalism was the cynosure as he mounted the stage to announce the result of the winners. 23 years old undergraduate of UNN, Vivian Adaeze Nnamani emerged winner and was crowned Miss United Nation Nigeria 2015 in a tightly contested pageant show. Another attraction of the night was when star artist and Nigeria's popular female singer Chidinma left the stage to dance with Fashanu, a move that arrested the attention of the audience at the star-studded event which also featured A.Y, Klint Da Drunk, Gandoki etc.
