PoliticsRe: Attention!!!!!!!!!!!Any Correlation Btw The Hate For Jonathan And That For Igbos by Ichieboxy: 2:53am On Aug 12, 2015
Op...this is my submission...

1)Jonathan had Ebele in his name hence was tagged Igbo... by Hausa and Yoruba...hence shared in age long hatred for Igbo...

2)Jonathan committed the crime of appointing Igbo(Ihejirika)...to such office which was hitherto a taboo or no go area for them...Remember, the outcry and threat that culminated in removal of Ihejirika...

3)Jonathan was seem as instrument of reemergence of Igbo into political forum by Hausa and yoruba...an unwritten taboo since 1966 coup d'etat...hence was hated and brought down...A Jonathan building seaport down Akwaibom will collapse Lagos...a taboo...A Jonathan having 2nd term will discourage ease of 2016 census; oil block licensing...etc which may benefit others more than North... a taboo...A Jonathan brought Confab which is seen as anti-north...a taboo...and so many other "crimes" of a Jonathan the supposed "Igbo" in Ijaw cloak...

4)Same people that insult Jonathan claiming bad governance... eulogize and support Osun notwithstanding it's almost a dead state...

5)Forget the corruption story...you must give a dog a bad name to hang it...such is life...Remember Obama used same propaganda against Gadaffi and invaded Libya...how's Libya today?...where's the nuclear weapon and other stuff that Obama claimed they have evidence forhuh...

OP, what's your take on this...
Sometimes, I wonder what most of you gain by being myopic and standing truth on its head...smh...Let me show you VERY clear examples of blind support...

1)Can you compare Jonathan 4yrs and Obj 4yrs...yet Yoruba supported Obj for 2nd term...

2)Yoruba confronted Obj only when they had another candidate on platform of AD...

3)If Yoruba including their elites could support Aregbesola(APC) notwithstanding the situation in Osun but confront Fayose(PDP) who has a far better economy in his state of Ekiti...what does it tell youhuh...

4)If Soyinka would be angry with Gbenga (PDP) for locking down legislature for 1year even after he's left office...but celebrate Amechi(APC) who locked down judiciary and legislature for close to 3years...what would you call ithuh...

5)Buhari gained popularity in the north because of his stance on sharia in late 2000...and has maintained such ever since...he has an unequalled record in ethnic and religious biased issues...even as president now...but enjoys support of your likes...isn't it blind supporthuh...Can you compare him to Jonathan in terms of such negative record?

6)If criticism of Jonathan attracts you the label of enemy alone(No political assassination or single record of political exile; no other Nigerian leader has this record) but criticism of Obj attracts political assassination(death)... which is worse?...but Yoruba still supported Obj...

7)Which media did Ijaw or Igbo use in the propagandahuh... Punch, PremiumTimes, Leadership, Osundefender, TheNation, LindaIkeji, Tvc, Saharareporters or which onehuh...

While Mbaka and Ngige exist, they are treated with scorn by many SE especially her on NL

While in SW and North PDP and GEJ enjoyed major support, some > 25% of votes in 2015 and many people in SW want nothing with Buhari and APC. They are Objective enough.

The SE and SS put all their eggs in one basket with PDP

You can compare the broad political spectrum within the SW or even the North to the myopic one-trick pony ideals of the SE, even the APGA which should have a dominance don't
1)How much respect does Fayose enjoy from Yoruba including elites like falana, Soyinka simply because he's pro PDP?...Hypocrisy defines most of you here...

2)Facts are sacred bro...Yoruba have proven beyond reasonable doubt to be chief tribalists in Nigeria and can NEVER vote anybody outside their tribe in elections...Otherwise can you compare Obj 4years and Jonathan 4yearshuh...yet Yoruba supported Obj for 2nd term notwithstanding buhari was contesting...

3)Let me end by showing you how Yoruba has been voting along tribal line since independence (facts are sacred bro)...Quit denigrating other tribes especially Igbo to cover your lies and ethnic bias...

The South-West zone has 14,296,163 registered voters, which represents 19.44% of the total number of voters nationwide. In terms of national electoral strength, the zone is number 2. Taking into account the electoral behaviour of the South-West since independence, the zone has proven itself, without exception, of incapable of voting anyone other than its own.

In the 1st Republic, it voted mainly Action Group in favour of Chief Obafemi Awolowo with about 69% voters’ turnout.

In the 2nd Republic, it voted 78.75% of its total votes cast for UPN in favour of Chief Awolowo, with 70% voters’ turnout.

In the June 12, 1993 presidential election, the pattern was repeated more or less the same, except that the total percentage of SDP’s votes in favour of Chief MKO Abiola
rose up to 84.5% in the zone.

In the 1999 presidential election, mainly because the only
two candidates for the presidency were both from the South-West, the zone’s voters’ turnout was abysmally low (48.09%) with about 68% of the votes cast to APP in favour of Chief Olu Falaye. 2003 also recorded poor voters’ turnout with 71% of votes cast for Obasanjo’s PDP.

In 2011, with no Southwestern candidate fielded by any of the major parties, the South-West voted PDP when a functional alliance with the CPC failed to field in Sen. Tinubu or his nominee. Besides, with the vicious experience of AD in 2003 when the PDP Federal Government uprooted its governments in five states of the zone, the South-West cannot now afford to risk having an opposition PDP government at the federal level again; certainly not after the hard pains and toils of forming the APC. It is therefore existential for the South-West to vote APC at the presidential election.

We have the weapons according to waiters but waited till weeks to election for postponement and we started fighting.

GEJ will laugh very hard knowing that some people can defend the charade he called govt.
Hatred forces people to lose their sense of reasoning just like you did yours...

According to Badeh;
“Despite these challenges, I am glad to note that a lot was achieved during our time in the fight against terror. The achievements are largely due to the commitment, patriotism, and fighting spirit of our men and women in uniform who saw the fight against terror as a task that must be accomplished no matter the odds and in spite of the campaign of calumny against the military by a section of the media and their foreign collaborators” he noted.

According to Dasuki;
“All these were acquired in the last one year after years of frustration by Western powers who denied us of the equipment and sabotage our efforts to acquire same from other sources which are reasons for some delay in delivery.”
According to him, some other arms already paid for by the previous administration are due to be delivered soon. “It was unfortunate that some elements are frustrating the efforts as we even had to query some suppliers for delay in delivery of arms and ammunitions,” he added.

Finally, how many of such weapons has buhari your god added since he assumed power?...or is he trying to replicate same charade as you saidhuh
