There's no correlation between the year of manufacture of the laptop and its battery backup. I never stated that the battery on it, is the battery it was manufactured with. Battery is a hardware component that can be replaced when the cells get weak. That's why there are shops where accessories (keyboards, screens, batteries, ...) are sold.

It shouldn't be a yardstick to make such a ridiculous offer. The Intel Core 2 Duo (X200) can't even go for 45K; let alone this model that's Intel Core i5 (X201).
