What is Grace ?

Deola asked Ben if he was prepared for the presentation he had the following day.

He replied, “I am by the grace of God.”

Instead of going over his work to make sure everything was in order, he watched some movies and went to bed on the premise that the grace of God was sufficient. Ben got up in the morning, spoke in tongues for one hour, dressed up and went to the meeting disorganized. He didn’t take his time to prepare and go over his work and couldn’t deliver as expected.

Of course, he lost to someone who was more organized and prepared.

“I will come by the grace of God” was the reply Blessing gave to her friends when she was asked if she was going to show up for the make-up class. Eventually, she didn’t show up. Was that to say that the grace of God was not sufficient?

“Okey, how are you preparing for your forth coming examination?”

“I am trying o. I will pass by the grace of God.” Okey replied.

He kept on playing and before he knew it he, was pressured. He ended up failing 3 courses out of 7. His highest score was a C.

I can go on explaining how we have abused or misused the word GRACE.grace

In all of these cases, they believed in God and Grace, but is it God’s fault that they did not produce the right result or was the grace not sufficient?

Most of us have neglected our part because we think success will fall on us like a pack of cherry all in the name of grace. We have refused to take responsibility for our actions, we have refused to sit up, we have refused to do the needful because we are “Christian / Believers”. 90% of Christians are praying for God to give them the ability to buy what thinkers are producing.

The funny thing is that half of the producers are not Christians better still have the Holy Spirit. We have limited the grace of God even when he said “My grace is sufficient for you – I ( 2 Corinthians 12:9)

The grace of God and praying in the Spirit is supposed to give us an edge. It’s supposed to put us few steps higher. It’s supposed to take us to places where our natural strength can’t take us; to give us insight, foresight and ideas.

Are you going to stop saying by the grace of God when asked a question? No, but you are going to be precise.

“Dorathy, are you going for the training tomorrow?”

“Yes, I will be there 8am by the grace of God!”

“John, how prepared are you for presentation?”

“My slides are ready, I have also studied the materials they gave me and I will go over them again and by the grace of God, only the best will happen.”

In 2017, take responsibility for your life. Happen to life. Roll your boat. Be specific.

Know what you want and go for it. Do something. The creator said that he will ” … bless all the work of your hands” – (Deuteronomy 28:12) What will He bless and cause an increase when you have no works.

If at any point you feel you need more grace, here is the solution, 2 Peter 1:2 – Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. This is very clear, Grace can be increased but through knowledge of God and Jesus. You can achieve this by spending quality moments in fellowship with the Word and the Holy Spirit.

The same rain falls on the good and evil, principles are universal.

If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves on the earth – Ecclesiastes 11:3, This 2017, fill your clouds and expect the desired testimonies.

Grace gives you an edge. DON’T ABUSE IT!

OnOctober 1, the Alibaba-Jumia Hybrid (as he described it) will officially launch, and give the rest of the country access to the products made in Aba.

Context, for those who don’t live here: Aba is located in South East Nigeria, and is home to lots of artisans who make shoes, bags, belts, clothes, etc. The “Made In Aba” trope is one that’s typically used to look down on these products as inferior (it’s not helped by the fact that some of them are imitations of Western brands), but the Abia State government is turning that narrative on its head. If MadeInAba.com.ng is properly executed, it will give these traders/producers a much larger market to sell to, than the people (mostly resellers) who are brave enough to take a trip to that neck of the woods.

Update (by Tola): So we received a release that gave more info about MadeInAba.com.ng. You know the basics – it’s an e-commerce site that’ll make all (or most of) the products that are made in Aba available to buyers from all parts of Nigeria. What you don’t know is:

There’ll be a customer-protection feature where payments won’t be released to merchants until customers receive their purchases and confirm they are satisfied with them.
Merchant/manufacturer profiles will come with verification tags to help customers decide who to buy from. Verified profile will be discernible from non-verified ones.
There’ll be physical stores where customers can buy MadeInAba products. The stores will offer wholesale and retail services and will take orders from customers, contact the producers and ensure delivery. There should be MadeInAba stores in Lagos and Abuja by next year.

The future is here. Allo is finally ready for download in some parts of the world, and South Africa is one of them. Google first announced the smart messaging app along with Duo (a video calling app) during the I/O Developer conference in May.

Duo was launched in August and expectations have been high for Allo as they were both slated to be released this summer. Expert tipster, Evan Blass revealed the launch date on twitter earlier this week and it seems he was right.

Allo is supposed to be Google’s answer to Facebook-owned WhatsApp, and a distinct feature it has is that it’s AI-powered. Allo uses machine learning to help you chat faster and smarter (read: become lazier) by suggesting appropriate responses to messages you receive.

Allo is also integrated with the previously announced, Google Assistant. You can have conversations or mention the Assistant in your chats, to ask questions or pull information, without leaving the chat page. Other Allo features include photos, emojis, stickers, and a Chrome-like incognito mode with advanced privacy features. According to the Google launch post, “You can also message friends who aren’t yet using Google Allo through SMS or, for those using Android, app preview messages.” You won’t need to sign in with your Google account as Allo only requires your phone number. I reckon this is good news for those that do not want Google to have their soul information.

Paid only Instagram integration: Free users will now be able to access Instagram features in view-only mode i.e they will not be able to perform any actions on Instagram through the Crowdfire app. Users on the Pluto, Earth, Neptune and Jupiter plans will be able to use our Instagram integration fully and perform all actions. So if you aren’t an upgraded user then we request you to upgrade right away before the June 1st deadline.

To sum things up, post June 1, 2016 paying Crowdfire customers would be able to access the following features while free users, although able to view all Instagram features from within the app, will not be able to perform any action.

I have waited for this day, to post this letter to you my hero, Goodluck Ebele Johnathan.I woke up this morning to find out that the article was not ready, I had to finish it up even before saying twale to baba God and dispatch my angels to work.

I write on behave of millions of Nigerians especially the future generation (youths) and the unborn, including those who would out of their bias, unfounded hatred and tribalism will never agree that you are a hero. But the International community, on several occasion have prove them wrong with the many awards and recognition that you have received.

My Hero, you sacrificed your ambitions for the peace of this nation and that is a fact.

The truth is even if you won the elections, there would have still been bloodshed, but you let it go and saved many souls. On behave of free thinkers like me, who are rational, not guided by ethnic sentiments and bigotry. We say thank you!

Like you said,

my political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian.

and you proved it, despite lies by the opposition that your body language indicates the opposite.

When I think through the incidence, the tension in the nation, the rumors of wars, the rumors of arms brought in to the country, hate speeches flying everywhere, even my sister escaped in the night to Ghana using night bus, I can only say, it was God’s will.

What pains me is how Nigerians can be gullible, and believe everything they read / hear from media. Many Nigerians have refuse to think through things that they read or hear to a logical conclusion.

It is unfortunate that today in Nigeria, media houses are owned by politicians and you can only expect their own side of the story to fill the polity. The truth is propaganda and lies will back fire soon.

From the fact that you achieved nothing to their commissioning the railway station, implementing TSA, using the system you left on ground that will filter ghost workers, even Fashola, who refuted your claims in areas of road construction has eaten his words, that you bought substandard weapons which that are still using hahahahaaa!!

GEJ their lies were endless, but Nigerians are getting wiser, of course the wife of the president hosted their media soldiers for a job well done and just yesterday the vice president met with social media influencers, what do you expect from these people who dine with them, its very obvious, they will spread lies, twist the story-line to favor their paymasters. Lets wait and see what will trend today on social media.

May God forgive our youths who keep selling their future for chicken soup.

Furthermore, things have really changed here, Nigerians are suffering, many have lost their jobs, graduates now stand by the road to advertise themselves, prices of basic items especially food items have increased, Power consumption and water bills are now competing with rent. No light, subsidy that you fought for has been removed. You were not perfect, but it was not as bad as this. They have even replaced your presidential awards for first class graduates, YOUWIN, SUREP-GIS with #5000 stipend, just imagine the height of cluelessness.

God will raise another Goodluck that will save of from these hypocrites, just like He used you to save us from those who planned to unleash evil on Nigerians in 2015.

I remember them chanting, we are sending you to Otueke, but each time I see your new pictures on the internet, you look fresher and younger, soaring higher, receiving awards and recognition here and there, many youths rushing to take selfies with you, God also blessing you with more grand children.



Some thought that you were weak, but only a strong man can let things go.

Some said you could not control your own, but I saw a humble man who trusted in his team and expected them to do what was right. Time will justify this…
