Good day guys, please I need help here, I just bought Google pixel 7 pro new and unboxed it myself this afternoon but when I tried charging it, the battery icon keeps showing question mark on it ?... I have tried different chargers it kept showing the same thing.... Please what could be the problem and how can i fix it? Pls note, it's brand new, and unboxed just today.....

If it's brand new, it's factory error, the battery is bad, a battery replacement will solve it

Pls who have sorted pixel 4a battery issue .. omo i am getting drained oo any help pls . After last update battery still giving me shege. ....

The issue is, I think Google want to phase out the pixel 4a coz,
1. On Google site, the only update available for 4a is this one that has the battery issues, so even if you want to flash another rom to backdate, it's not possible or available and they are not likely to drop another update
2. Battery change does not solve the problem, and also for those that are avoiding the update, the phone auto update itself.

Since Google are compensating for the damage, I know someone that Google paid 75k for this issue so best bet is to just apply for compensation, collect your 75k and be good, then go buy another phone.

At least you get something back in return.
