Honestly, I once concluded that making money online is a scam, and it is only the Yahoo boys who can do that.

This is because I have spent much of my hard-earned money buying programs that promised success in online business but ended up being a waste of money.

But something happened that propelled me not to give up and accept my fate:

What happened is what I will be sharing with you now.

Back in April 2019, I was working as an IT personnel for a Cyber Café in Abakaliki town where I earn N20,000 monthly.

Initially, I was happy with the money I was being paid there.

The most devastating situation of my life occurred in early April 2020 when the Covid-19 lockdown began.

I lost my job as an IT personnel.

This was a blessing in disguise, but I never knew..

Before this time, they were owing me 3 months’ salaries.

With the feel of disappointment in my heart, I asked for my 3 months salaries so I can use it to sustain myself and my younger brother living with me.

The biggest heartbreak happened!

I was told there was no money.

I couldn’t believe my ears,

It was as if someone hit me on the chest with a heavy object. The manager took me to his office, and explained things to me, and promised to pay me in 2 weeks.

This was a bit of consolation, but I was still fuming within me as tears rolled down my chin. (Little do I know this was a blessing in disguise)

I went home that day devastated; I lost my appetite for food.

I was left with no option than to fall back on the little money I have saved to feed myself and my brother.

You know what?

My manager didn’t pay me even after 7 months. I accepted that the money was gone.

Long story cut short...

The delay in that payment ended up becoming a blessing in disguise.

You know why?
