IGBOPROMISE1: Why is it that all these fanciful ‘international’ hospitals never match the hype that comes with their launching!? I vividly remember the launching of the ones in Uyo and Benin by Akpabio and Oshiomole respectively! They billed as the final word in bespoke highend healthcare that will help stop or mitigate health tourism abroad by the well off! How come we don’t hear of those two hospitals anymore?
Because what makes a hospital is University is not the buildings, but the entire system, especially the manpower and equipment. These guys only construct buildings and commission them.
SmartPolician: Honestly, I must give some credit to the west (white people) for making blacks their citizens and allowing them hold key government position.
This is something we don't even allow among ourselves here in Nigeria and I know for certain that Asians will never allow. Asian are as wicked as blacks.
I used to see them as mostly racists, but I now see them as progressives because they seem to welcome anyone or anything that'll move their society forward. Our own case is different.
Osashalom: Those guys are so daft, I don't think they even listen to those factual and intelligent conversations Datti had there.
Thank you o. Honestly, I worry for this country because the debt of imagination reflected in our social media is scary. Let's keep praying that this is not the case, generally.
All my life, I was misled into believe that resources do finish, but today I have learnt from you that it's the opposite. Thank you for the new perspective.
sleek214: This Datti should have his head checked. Since he can't get the coalition to pick Obi, he's now trying to sell Ameachi... Tinubu has bought this one over, he's trying to look for easy candidate that Tinubu can easily defeat. ADC best shot is Atiku/ Obi... Any other candidate is a walkover
Why do you people easily jump into and out of conclusions?
The Bible also asked you to accuse without provide a evidence?
JagaLove: Mumu people dey follow gehgeh. gehgeh we dey hide give woman money.
1 Timothy 5 vs 8 says. If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
Putindbutt: I don't blame them, every eyes are on Abuja. Those wailers shouting Tinubu would rather their State Governors loot away their future than hold them to account. Make the Govs continue to dey on enjoyment.
Our common wealth was hitherto reaching us, but you seized it through subsidy removal and devaluation, and transfered it to the governors. Now, you say it's our responsibilty to go and collect it from the governors? As how?
This Reno's old post was before he realised that Obi doesn't give shishi
givedemwotowoto: We’ll judge Peter Obi based on the resources available to him and how he managed them.
Peter did an exceptional job as governor of Anambra, growing the state's GDP by about 40% in 2 years (between 2009 and 2011), at a time when the average growth of Nigeria's GDP was about 7% annually.
Agric sector in Anambra grew by 30%, and the Service sector grew by 66% (According to NBS and National Planning Commission Data). At this rate, Anambra was growing faster than some African and Caribbean countries according to Ambassador Bashir Yuguda, the supervising minister of National Planning in 2014, who later became Minister of State for Finance during Buhari's government.
On road construction, Peter Obi constructed and rehabilitated over 900km of roads, creating at the time, one of the best rural road networks in Nigeria. He also constructed 28 bridges in Anambra which opened up many communities and economic activity across the state, one of the longest of them built on the Ozubulu-Atani road.
When PO left office, he left hundreds of billions of naira (in today's value) in the state treasury, something rare among Nigerian governors.
Peter Obi’s legacy in Anambra can be summarized in 3 words: Prudence, Prosperity, and Integrity, and those are the exact qualities of the President that Nigeria urgently needs now.
We always cherish an opportunity to showcase Peter Obi's achievements whenever paid actors and Amaechi laptop beneficiaries attempt to gaslight and malign
