The duplitious nature of the police and military in Nigeria has now made legit civil actions like Arresting criminals and handing them over to law enforcements agents for onward prosecution appear foolish. Infact, people now prefer jungle justice as the actual and effective form of justice. It Appears that we are officially a failed and broken society. |

Same way the Government sponsored thugs to pollute the Endsars protests, They have chosen to Call a dog a bad name, so they can hang it legitimately rather than dialoguing. |
You now wish to regulate the same thing your party said is ineffective just days ago? There is freedom of worship, and right of equal treatments before the law, I mean if Pastors and Imams don't register compulsorily, why victimise only Native Doctors? |

HERE WE ARE!! The youths poured into the streets of southern Nigeria and Abuja. They carried nothing but placards, calling for justice, equity and fair play in Nigeria in endsars protests. They sang and danced on the streets, day and night. They were very peaceful, very well organized, full of zest, energy and passion for a better and brighter Nigeria What did our political class and power mongers do? How did they respond? They mowed them down at the lekki toll gates, with hot bullets. They called them rascals and irresponsible and misguided youths. Then they set up kangaroo judicial panels to investigate if those they shot with hot bullets actually died. And they,as usual, used religion and ethnicity to muddy up the waters and turn the people against them. They must have clinked glasses of champagne to celebrate their victory over the peaceful youths and many ignorant elders nodded in agreement with them. And so, the political class learnt nothing from those protests. They simply shrouded their shoulders, frowned at the 'irritating youths'who dared disturb their primary occupation of looting Nigeria, and they returned to business as usual, even as they unleashed terror on the promoters of the endsars movement. Some of us shouted and warned that the protests is actually a yellow card and that if nothing is done to address the issues raised, the red card is coming. But none of them listened. So, HERE WE ARE. Today, another set of youths are now on the streets. These ones are not carrying placards but Ak 47 rifles and machine guns and bombs. These ones are not singing and dancing on the streets but sending soldiers and policemen to an unscheduled meeting with God in sudden judgement. These ones have decided to confront the oligarchy head on in an orgy of sorrow, blood and tears. These ones are not speaking grammar but spitting bullets on the protectors of the politicians and their collaborators. And SUDDENLY, the political class and their cohorts are beginning to smell the coffee. They are beginning to come to the grime realisation that if their protectors are being eliminated and intimidated, then they, the political class and cohorts, are being stripped naked and would obviously become the next targets for the bullets and bombs of the unknown gun men. Abuja is just two hours away from Boko Haram and bandits,as at today. And Buhari is begging America to rescue Nigeria. So, HERE WE ARE. Those who make peaceful change impossible,we make violent change INEVITABLE. HERE WE ARE. Where do we go from here as a country? Anyone who still thinks things will remain the same and we should just wait until 2023 is very very delusional. SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE. And very quickly too,if Nigeria is not to slide over the precipice. This has gone beyond APC and PDP. This is now a matter of survival of Nigeria as a country. It's either dialogue is urgently called for to address this Nigeria as per to restructure or disintegration is certain. I can tell you for free, the political class and their cohorts are in danger. Yes, some have realized it while some still have their heads buried in the excreta of a 2023 elections. HERE WE ARE. ... John Esevbode Wrote
