I've met and or known personally, several Kenyans, Ugandans, Ethiopians and a Tanzanian who I've witness and or have admitted to me upon my inquiring, that they drink or "spoon" curd milk aka spoiled milk. Back in high school I briefly dated this Kisii girl from Kenya, and I can remember her mother would buy a fresh half gallon of milk and leave it sitting out on the kitchen counter until it curd (spoiled) and then they would drink it like that, and use a spoon to eat the curd. I'd try my best not to show my utter displeasure at the site of them doing that, but damn I majorly grossed-out by the site of that. I was told that it's a common practice with most East Africans.
