Autos / Re: Lies From Car Dealers! BUYERS BEWARE by incogni2o: 1:44pm On Feb 08
travelinfo:
it's quite unfortunate that unemployment has turned many people to overnight car dealer dishing out lies to members of public

Many of such lies includes;

✓ This car has low mileage but when you eventually see the car in real life, it will have mileage of over 250k

✓ Claim theres nothing to be fixed on the car but when you see the car & test drive it then you will realize there's lots of work to do on the vehicle

✓ The biggest of these lies is that vehicle was registered less than 6months or 3months but when you check the number plate, it shows car registered over 3years

✓ Another lies is that owner doesn't drive it much because he's out of town, owner has travelled out, owner is based abroad etc

please stop dishing out lies to brand your cars as super neat, most of the time you are wasting customers time & destroying your reputation at the same time

MY ADVICE TO BUYERS
When you are buying Tokunbo or naija used cars, ensure that you check the vehicle thoroughly and dont rely on word of mouth from dealer/marketer

If you are buying a Nigerian used car, ensure that you bargain very well & never listen to any dealer claiming that owner hardly uses the vehicle or owner is based abroad, vehicle was used by female banker etc, its all lies to cheat you and sell the car to you at expensive price

enough said

The issue is Nigerians love sweet talk

Auxtan:
People rarely talk about how much thinkering men go through in finding/choosing a life partner.

I'm at that point in my life and is really not an easy thing or decision.

You make me remember my uncle.

few years after I got to lagos and he saw I've settled a bit - lived on my own.

He said. "Get married, all women are the same".

I took that mentality to getting married and its helped me to not expect a perfect partner.

in.my opinion, only a handful of marraiges get it right from Day 1. It a journey of figuring out how to help each other live with yourselves.

And to me, it makes sense. Perfect sense.

I think God made it that way for us to see what it actually takes to love someone.

Don't brood over it, you may not find "Mrs Right", I'll advice, rather find someone to LOVE.

finding isn't hard. Loving is.

Tell him to give u a refund or arrest him with a military man

See this one, little do you know about Igoo business to know that most of them are same , just in different levels.

Definitely they also sell a lot of good products, but Thier business model don't cover the risk of this rare occasions which will definitely happen since it's electronics.

Once you get something tokunbo, cross your mind to take part of the risk or be explicit about your expectations with the seller so as to use as evidence tomorrow.

I trust Naija used newly bought electronics(esp TV, talk more of SMART) than UK used to some extent.

Ill advice you and Him to reach and follow through with a workable splitting of the cost.

You'll rarely see an Igoo person 100% explicitly honest when it comes to business.

A white man will rather be explicit to tell you that they aren't liable for any fault or product is covered by warranty.

I hope alabaconnect doesn't end up spoiling his rep here. Used tokunbo Electronics is a tricky thing to sell on Nairaland

Soo what's the next big thing.

Sincerely speaking, job posts have significantly decreased, unless it's only me noticing it.

If it's just about reducing cost, then, remote work gigs should have continued to spike, but I don't think that's the case.

Personally, I don't think it's AI yet, It could be, but I can't see that.

It could also be due to reduced VC funding.
Or maybe Jobs aren't posted publicly again
Or something else

The police harassment nor be devil, it's a result of bad governance and corruption

Same Devil wouldn't make you think logically to tell yourself the truth, but logically to lie to yourself.

If Viagra dey your pocket, they go catch you? Mind you Police Men mostly don't harrase Gentlemen, They sterotype appearances. (Caveat: I can't say I look like a gentleman myself)

Point is personally you know It's Viagra that put in Wahala.

Imagine sef (God forbid) If they saw big money in your account and sh9t you after making you transfer all.

Instead make you Thank God, you are saying it's cos of bad goverance and corruption which you didn't contribute to in any way.

These pictures actually look masculine because their trousers are loose. But I've seen guys wearing shorts crossing their well lubricated legs. I've also seen guys wearing tight jeans or trousers crossing their legs like this and it really bothers me. I don't think it's gay, rather I feel like guys who cross their legs are conceited and arrogant. It really irks me 😡

I won't say I'm holy but yes I have Jesus and I've been trying to use Jesus to fix it for years before while I kept doing it and getting worse, do you know how many times I gave my life to Christ over guilt?

I own my addiction with my full chest and now understand that I need time and love for myself to stop, I used to watch porn everyday and now I only do it once or twice a month and sometimes nothing at all

People with low libido can't relate though, but regardless nor be Jesus dey solve this kind tin bros

I'm not condeming you, but I'm urging you to consider learning spiritually from challenging events like this rather than merely focusing on the physical occurrence and throwing the blame to external factors alone.

Accepting sin makes one susceptible to torment from the enemy.

As a Christian, It's two things when things like this happen. God, sometimes, allows things like this for a reason, for a test. The other reason is due to SIN which makes one sucestible to Satan's cane (which I think is this case is).

Personally though, I am determined not to let the enemy convince me to accept my sin as an inherent part of my personality. While I understand, relate and resonate with struggles such as a high libido, I don't have a definitive scientific answer (although I believe discipline, a closer connection with God through meditation, the bible, and prayer play a role). Nonetheless, I am certain that simply accepting sin as a facet of my identity is not aligned with the truth.

Shall we continue in Sin that Grace might abound? God Forbid.

So just take the incident as both an issue with the Nigeiran Police System, and also due the Devil showing you a little pepper.

Interestingly my Playlist just switched to playing this song by one of my favourite bands. The lyrics may make sense to you

It's very annoying that I got beaten up by police today because of vega 100....

[In the images below my hand now looks like a deformed pig]

I was on my way to a hotel to meet up with my babe but I had to go back to go take my drugs at home and it was late about 10pm so the police stopped me and checked, first they saw a condom and then they saw vega 100

He immediately said I should open my tongue which I did and then he asked to follow him that I'm with hard drugs 🥲 and I was shocked then I asked him to wait that it's not a hard drug and it's just a sexual stimulant which is completely legal

I tried to show him the receipt I bought it off jumia and that it is a legal drug which he kept on doubting that jumia did not sell me this, then they took my phone and before you know it they started pushing me inside the car

Out of shock I started resisting their attempts by asking them to just wait pls and listen so I can show them proofs that I don't even take drugs or smoke. Initial I just carry it because I get erectile dysfunction sometimes which I'm trying to fight after many years of porn use.

They took a stick and started hitting me and slapping me because I was resisting them I entered the car and they said I will bring 100k 🤧

I asked the officer, where I wan get 100k from that it's only 20k I have abeg, they kept driving till station and before you know it they stopped and asked me to withdraw the 20k at the POS close to the station...

The POS woman looked like she was in on it too that she collected 1k for charges and I just shoke my head in sadness that she knew what was going on

This is my second case with police but different scenario and I both I was not given a chance to speak, the first time it was because the police woman 'thought' I was recording while I wasn't and I politely asked for her to open it in front of everyone present to check and she shut me up and now tonight's incident

I really tired of this country and I hope I won't get into any trouble with the police again, I couldn't even speak after as I was just quiet looking at how evil both the police and my fellow citizen (the POS woman) can be and in the end everyone would go to church or mosque during worship days

I spit on Nigeria and I'll do anything to leave as it is 🤦

Bro you need Jesus.

That's the solution to your frustration.

I have these experiences too but they most times come when I am on the unrighteous path.

Why not get sober and Pray for God's forgiveness and protection in all you do.

My 2 cents.
