CAD to naira was 250 naira when i came and could survive with a job for months. Today its 1092. A one bedroom studio when i came to Toronto was 1300 today’s its 2300. There are fewer jobs today than then. The target of my message are students who come here without any-money thinking they can pay for their fees and bills . But 6 months down no job. There are jobs in Canada, far more than in many other nations.

Just come in legally as a Permanent Resident (P.R).

Key point is to make sure to research that your skills are in demand over there.

It is easier to get a Job as a resident of Canada than from outside Canada... And the economy is not anywhere as bad as some of you paint it.

Many of the people that complain a lot are people who didn't enter countries like Canada, Australia, etc, as legal Permanent Residents... Typical are the ones that come in as refugees.


I understand that many of you Nigerians based abroad hate to see your fellow countrymen joining you there, but don't lie anyhow and paint too many unnecessary negative pictures.
