On this said night, I was sleeping when I started hearing shouts and metalic notices, I been thinking say na masquared, so I jump comot outside to observe.

Because of the crowd, I couldn't get to the front of the procession, but I followed nevertheless, not knowing they are about to lynch to death two hardened criminals on the express road.

This was past 10 already, and I was barely 13 years then, what my eyes saw that night, I would never forget.

Those guys were tied hands and legs behind their backs, all manners or stones and blocks were thrown at them, some people use 2by2 to smash their heads, this continued for like 30 minutes, how I managed to stand there that night to witness it all was something I could never understand.

When the crowds were sure they were visibly dead, everyone walked back home leaving their mangled bodies in the middle of road, hoping big trucks would finish the remainings.

The flowing morning, more people came out to have a look, I was so visibly shaken and terrified that I couldnt eat or sleep for two days.

Those bodies were there for 2 days, nobody to pack them, at that point rigor mortis had done it best and maggots were now crawling around them, the stench was undescribable, some people who lived close by actually left their homes for weeks, the smell was there for more than a month, even tho the govt brought people from the prisons to pack it.


Anything with blood and cells smells horribly after dead when rigor mortis takes over
