I like my device to have under-display fingerprint reader or don't have a fingerprint at all.
In fact, the major security of a device still rely on the old pin, passcode and pattern. Fingerprint is as relevant as an ir-blaster, its just for the extra.

Nothing beats a device with a clean backpanel. Trust me on this. Having a cutout for Fingerprint at the back of a device to me, just makes the device looks ancient and low-classed.

Fingerprint is important.

A smartphone is all about the chip.
The major aspect of a smartphone device that makes it a flagship, midrange or lowend is the chipset.
A device can have an hd resolution, 3000mah battery and still be regarded as a flagship if it possess a highend chipset.

The chipset of a smartphone is so major that a device with 2000mah battery and 5inch screen can last longer during use when compared to another device with 3500mah battery with the same screen size.

In fact, a device with a good chipset can turn every ordinary aspect of the same device into extraordinary.
Take for instance this realme c3.
Due to the chipset present in the device and how capable the chipset is being propagated to perform, the device already has numerous buyers listed and ready to pounce.

Less than 14hours of launch, major YouTubers in Indian already has videos up and running, trying to give potential buyers a feel of the new mtk lowend chipset.

I never really preferred any of the mtk chips ranging from a22, p22, p35 to the snapdragon 439.
But this G70 in realme c3, has me imagining how snapdragon is going to reply to this.

I do share some of your assumptions though, as regards to certain features this device lacks.
I did expect it to come with a usb type c port.
But other than this, realme should expect me to send buyers their way this year, pending redmi's 9a launch.
At 35k, this is already looking like a better bargain compared to the redmi 8a, if you can ignore the need for an ir-blaster and sec-mic.

Lets take a look at what a buyer of the realme c3 will be getting specs wise.
A midrange chipset in a lowend bugdet device.
6.5inch hd screen.
5000mah battery fuelling a device powered by a chipset made with a 12nm process.

If this isn't worth paying upto 40k for what is?

Maybe you do not know there are other phones with good snapdragon chipset at 35k to 40k...full HD, good battery,sharp camera, Fingerprint, Volte, 4gb/64 and others.


There are many phones, good phones at 35k to 40k.
Am typing this on Asus Zenfone 5q... Check the spec and it's 35k to 40k with premium design.
There are other ones.

Secondly.... If you go to the phone markets here in Nigeria and Slot, Many people do not care more about chipset than phone design, battery, camera, Fingerprint, display.

Buyers always care more about Design, Camera, Fingerprint, Battery, Display.

Any Xaomi Phone with good chipset, 4gb/64gb,full HD, good battery, sharp camera, Volte and others must be expensive, check their phones with good specs and the price.

Then you will see other phones from different good companies offering good specs at a lower price than Xaomi.

Conclusion.... 35k to 40k will get more better phones, Yes bc I know.

Pls do well to mention a flagship phone from 2018 with 2000mah battery, 5 inches, HD resolution....

Realme c3.... Poor display, no Fingerprint, not full HD, no volte at 35k. 35k is just for the processor then.
I know many good phones at that price.
Others are free to buy the realme c3, Not me.

I love their market strategy though... Using processor to sell low spec

Myself can't do without full HD or Amoled, sharp camera, battery and volte.

Even old Gionee M5 plus is Amoled screen at 35k, Asus Zenfone 5q/lite 4gb/64gb version is 35k to 40k, Mad camera, premium design.

Spec over name for me and I see different phones here at Alaba anytime containers of laptops and phones are offloaded.
