This invitation is a call to patriotic youths, young leaders, professionals and activist to be part of the founding members for The Youth Government of Nigeria.

AN OPEN INVITATION TO PATRIOTIC YOUTHS TO REPRESENT THEIR STATE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CAPACITIES:

-37 STATE CO-ORDINATORS [36 States and The FCT]
-111 DISTRICT CO-ORDINATORS [3 Senatorial District in each State/FCT]
-Over 774 LGA CO-ORDINATORS [Each LGA/LCDA of all 36 States and FCT]

BASIC REQUIREMENT
-Must be Nigerian Citizen and indigene of the State he/she wants to represent
-Should be between ages 21-40 years
Male or Female
-SSCE minimum educational qualification
-Must be free from any form of criminal offences, convictions and corrupt allegations
-Should be resident in his/her State or agree to reside in the State for the term of office.
-He/She is required to obtain Representative Form for the office

Young Democrats is a National Youth Development Organization Young Leaders, Professionals, Activist and Patriotic Youths researching, developing, promoting and implementing innovative ideas and solutions that will contribute positively to the Nations Development

OPERATIONAL SYSTEM
Young Democrats Will Work With The Government At All Levels, Public/Private Organizations And Individuals To Carryout Community Developmental Projects, State Developmental Projects And National Developmental Projects.

CURRENT SITUATION
Young Democrats have developed an innovative developmental project that will make the idea of a Youth Government of Nigeria a reality, go viral among Nigerian Youths and also easily attract the support of the general public, the government at all levels, public/private organizations and prominent individuals both locally and internationally.

MILESTONES
-To fill the afore-mentioned posts with the right representatives nationwide before Friday, 29th of May, 2015
-To officially launch Young Democrats on Friday, 29th of May, 2015 (Democracy Day)
-To begin operational plans on Monday, 1st of June, 2015
Our initial operations will be to:
-Get to know each other better as National Executive Committee. A copy of contact details of all NEC members will be given to every NEC member
-Deliberate at state levels on how to best present ourselves to the government at all levels
-Deliberate on how to best elect our Board of Trustees, Patrons and Matrons
-Get to know more about Young Democrats and our responsibilities individually and collectively
