I think some persons here doesn’t know the grassroot supports BAT has. I have always said it, I will contribute whatever I can to purchase APC presidential nomination form for Tinubu if he decides to contest(even if na 50k my power reach I will whole heartedly contribute it). In 2007 Tinubu supported Atiku, In 2011 Tinubu supported Ribadu In 2015 and 2019 Tinubu supported Bihari, all northerners and someone somewhere thinks the north won’t also rally behind him in 2023? |

Frankiss44: And who else have won the silver and gold for Nigeria with the so called best players? Siasia didn't win those medals playing the Chelsea way.. He won it playing a beautiful brand of football that even foreign coaches haven't given us.. I remember both Taye taiwo and Mike ended up as the second and third beat players of the tournament.. And there were many talents in the team so I don't know where your worse player is coming from I wish you well! |

ehmmy11: that guy is a known bribe taker i have a relative who was drop at the last minute for the Olympics team just because we could not raise 500k (we later discovered it was negotiable) guy was already tipped to play and wear the number 7 .. Finally siasia was dealt a heavy hand It will interest you to know that Siasia isn’t the only Nigeria coach that do such thing. Almost all the coaches from South are into this practice and few that I also know from the north. If I tell you how Bendel insurance players are been selected and dropped upto the season that just ended you will weep. First after paying bribe to the coaches, you have to also belong to a secret cults, most notably Aiye before you will be selected. |

sayisayi: Bros, no mind am. Nigerians only believe in what they see, so you can see why they are so frustrated and steeped in atavistic practices. When Dutch managers trained Nigeria, meritocracy was paramount and it showed in our team performances. Even when ihenacho broke through, amokachi and siasia tried to chase away his foreign agent so they could be in charge of his percentages.
Naija football is as bent as our election practices That’s what most Nigerian coaches are known for, becoming agents to players and ends up taken these players to competitions just to market them. Same thing Keshi did with Sunday Mba and it backfired. Do you know or remember Chibuzor Okonkwo? Siasia was always taken him along to competitions just to market him because Siasia was his agent and at the end he still didn’t excelled because he was a bad footballer. Ezekiel Bala, Isaac promise and Solomon Okoronkwo also comes to mind |

femimailbox: Though many might doubt your assertions but I have enough evidence about that 2005 U20 World cup palava. He dropped one of the best in Ellis (street name, real name withheld) Then residing at Iganmu because he was not able to raise the money. We have so many crooks in Nigeria football since time immemorial. Thank God I am not the only one on nairaland who has such witness. 99% of Nigeria coaches are crooks and collects bribes from players to pick them for competitions. I am an insider and I know all these things. |

Tuuns: This is wrong on many level. One wonders how he came second with some of the "worst players ever to grace football" like you mentioned. Chelsea won the champions league and defeated Barcelona at the semis not with the best players. Luck and him been a good coach always plays a major role in his case. You talked about coming second, have you forgotten the major competitions he went to and failed? But my point here is simple, he is a good coach, no argument about that, but those silver and Bronze medals he got, they could have been gold if he had taken the right and best players to those competitions |

Both Siasia and NFF should go and sleep. That was how he was paid 300-400k by each players that he took to the fifa 2005 U20 World Cup. The likes of Daddy Bazuaye, Monday James and Ambrose Vanzeki that he took from Bendel Insurance then paid he 350k each. There is always a time for all cheats and criminals. Who has noticed that Siasia though a good coach but always go to competitions with some of the worst players ever to grace football? 2016 Olympic comes to mind. Same thing the late Stephen Keshi did prior to 2014 world that he had to take the likes of Uche Nwafor and that flavour lookalike to the World Cup |
