This model for growing Pineapple using nylon covers should be applied to other crops like water melon and cucumber to discourage weed growing. I think this will go a long way in controlling weeds, as manual weeding may destroy the vines thereby adversely affecting output or what do you guys think?

Yeah, dats organic farming....it suppress weed, conserve moisture content and also act as mulching practice

I can handle cucumber successfully, jus harvested sum ystdy, though on a small scale. I stay in lagos and can also do it in abeokuta(ogun state). I can handle 2 Acres if needed materials are available. ismex4real@yahoo.com
