Stop deluding yourself, it would have been a blue wave if it was a net gain of +237 in the legislative seats and a net gain of +25 in governorship seats. As it is, Republicans and conservatives control 2.5 out of the three arms of government at national level and majority of governor's mansions and legislative houses at state level so the blue wave you are talking about is just imaginary, it didn't happen. If you want to know what a wave looks like, go and take a look at what the GOP did to the Obama led democrats in 2010. That's a wave not when democrats return a result that is historical normal and even below average for a party in opposition during the midterms. Go read about the first midterms of the President in power and you will see that Trump and the GOP did quite well. He even outperformed your thin gods Obama and Clinton by a very wide margin.
