Click on the gear icon on the top right when you log in, then go to 'My payments' you will see the cards section.Check if you have any card there already and see if the last 4 digits correspond with the one you're trying to add

That card has already been used either on this your present account or by someone else. Check your cards to see if it is already there if not use another card. Don't use that card on your new account

Have you linked the card to another PayPal account? If yes, I wld advise that you also ditch this one because PP don't forget. Clear your browser history and all and register for a new one on a fresh internet connection. Don't go ahead with this account, a flag has already been raised

It's my debit card that am talking about, do you mean I should open another PayPal account, but honestly this is my first time of opening a PayPal account.

pls someone should help I tried linking my card to my PayPal account but it keeps telling me that my card has been linked to another PayPal account
