I heard one cannot recall his/her passport at U.K. Embassy

My Aunty said one cannot recall his/her passport from U.K. Embassy for collection. Or can one recall

Then no need to call them, pay such money to speak to a human being. Never

@ Iwasnothere , that's d only line and the worst is that they will remove 20 pounds initially from ur card to be sure u av can to pay before they will later remove the main call charge. They removed 40 pounds from my card and they are to return it after removing the main call charges

Is it advisable to give them UKVI a call, this waiting is honestly getting out of hand. What number can someone call aside from the £1.37 call cost number ? And toll free line pls

Pease if you applied or knowns anyone who applied through India embassy for a VISA and their international passport has been with the India embassy for months. kindly follow @abikedabiri and @bukolasaraki Tweet to them by complaining how India embassy is frustrating Nigerian's over issuing of visa and holding applicants international passport captive for over 2 months without any information or feed back from the embassy. We need to stand up and flight for our rights and put a stop to this.

Lmao & you think those you mentioned above would help or be moved about an ordinary citizen plea to talk to India Embassy. Please don't worsen your case & don't let them put their Eagle eyes on Estonia

Passport with 5 years entry clearance for my wife and kid collected on 03/08/2017
Application was standard and it took exactly 15 workinf days. Relocationg with my family to UK.

Advisory:
I will advice you to wait until the UKVI has recognised your number, it will give the error message until you case has been decided.
Not until then will your passport be returned to TLS.

I will wait then, but seriously speaking it is tiring!

The same situation I am in.. I applied the same date and place as yours and no response yet from them also. I put a call through to them yesterday evening and the agent that responded said current status is "still awaiting decision". Got them to escalate it and they said they will get back to me in due course.. Hope it helps knowing it's not only you in this messy situation.. Please keep us posted with any updates at your end! Can someone help me out or advise if they are in the same situation. I made application for a 6 months family visit visa on 20th June, intended date of travel 21st July. I then got an email from UKVI that they would not meet their published application process of 15 days on 7th July. It's been more than 6 weeks I made the application and still haven't heard anything from anyone.

The most frustrating part of this is I planned to visit Germany after the UK and the now I just have a week left on that visa to expire

However, I used the UKVI website, and it shows "decided" on 25th July but AGAIN no email from the decision team in Sheffield or TLS to confirm this.

Is anyone in a similar situation and how long did it take to get your passport?

please how did you use the UKVI website because i have tried tracking my application but always writing error. I submitted on the 23rd of June in Ikeja. Went there twice (last week & this week) not ready. It's 6weeks+ already, so tired of this waiting. My Intended travel date is July 24

Op your docs are genuine cos if feedback is delayed like that it could be that they suspected something n trying to investigate.
It happened to my brother when he wanted to go to Ukraine, before you know it his pp was sent to ministry of foreign affairs.

I am already thinking may be I would go to Canada next year if I don't get visa for this admission. I don't understand it anymore, almost five weeks no feedback on my visa application.

At least there is more time to prepare for other countries and foreign exchange rate has been going down.

Someone got his visa in just over two weeks on same route, but mine is dragging. If I knew the Estonian visa would be this difficult, I would have applied for visa since April. I have friends Indians who could have invited me, even a British citizen.

The way I feel now is the way felt in the whole of April and May waiting for Euroacademy invite for interview, even though my friend there told me it was sure to come. Waiting can be boring and tiring.

Hello house, since they said we all need to get to Estonia to collect our TRP. Can a Bsc student apply for Egypt Tourist visa then head to Estonia Embassy the second day to process Estonia visa ? (Although I won't state it in the documents at Egypt Embassy here in Nigeria that I'm going to Estonia Embassy)

@miles300 it seems our school TALLIN UNI wants to be toying with us. Triin sent me a mail on the 23rd to fill the application for dormitory, which I did this morning. Now I mailed her back that this is what i got (the invoice section) & no invoice of payment yet. But she replied with this "Please just leave it empty or write the name of your bank there. You will receive the invoice in the beginning of August as the manager of the dormitory is out of office until then"
This is the 2nd time I'm filling this form, what's up with your application ?

Note : I pray you all succeed in getting your visas. ! Just want to point to everyone concern that If u avnt make a booking for school hostel , u should try to make one cos gettin an accommodation off campus it's really challenging and when u get one it could cost up to 6-700 euro for the first month before U pay the monthly rent subsequently ! If u are lucky enough u cud get an offer for a flat share which maybe less expensive .. just to so u know u brace your self ahead before u come to essti !

the same thing a friend turned brother that has been in Estonia since 2015 told me, he even said i shouldn't think of squatting o. That i should make sure i get that dormitory level, he himself can't guarantee me an apartment at his side when i get to Estonia. But above all GOD dey!
