The US didn't force anyone to adopt its currency as their national reserve. Countries only adapted it because it's the safest currency currently. Imagine if countries adopted the Russian rubble, as the Ukraine war started, their reserves would have depleted massively.

The US dollar is backed by the highest gold reserves worldwide—making it a very stable currency. No one will drop the US dollars because of one emotional Nigerian kid with no economic knowledge.


To answer your question, the US CBN can print money at will, but it will come along with inflation as a consequence(basic economics). All the dollar supply is carefully managed by Interest rates, Open market operations, and Reserve requirements. And then again, no one is producing for the US except people they contracted to.
