Opera Mini has become very useless and thrashy. What a nonsense they did to a once beautiful browser. Right now, the only thing I keep getting is ads upon upon ads! No good service.
Even it no longer preserves data like the Opera of old.

I started noticing this rubbish ever since they made a Nigerian ambassador or something.

And I also think they opened an office in Nigeria. Anything that gets into the hands of A Nigerian becomes damaged irreparably.

You will open a page and go back to your android menu. If you try to open opera again to continue browsing, they will open a very intrusive and annoying ad. One time, it redirected me to a PORN SITE FOR PORNOGRAPHY. Worst comes to Worst, it starts playing a video Ad.

Another one is news notification. THEY will now be sending useless notifications to my phone. On daily basis, I get nothing less than 30 notifications from this useless browser. And the annoying thing is that the news they send is not even news worthy. They have started this sensational news reporting that is popular among blogs. One time, I saw a notification like "FULANI HERDSMAN GATEMAN KILL EMPLOYER IN EDO". I clicked the link and it turned out that it was just another useless Nigerian blog.

Another one is heavy usage of ram. Opera mini thag is known to minimize data and compress pages, now overloads media a lot. You will open a page and the coloring they will send will be more than the website added.

Even they have started click baitin with their Google search bar. Everytime, they will change my search bar to trendin topics in Nigeria so that I will search one of them and they will now redirect me to a useless blog that paid them for that news.

Funny enough, their ads will still be blocked by their in built ad blocker. Because if a website pays them to advertise it and I visit to check it... OPERA AD BLOCKER WILL STILL BLOCK ADS ON THAT SITE. Penny wise, Pound Foolish??
