For this to become realistic the mindset of the people living there in Onitsha must have to be recreated and renewed which is almost impossible right now the govt can't do everything.

Let the government first provide the basic infrastructure, and ensure proper maintenance. Are you telling me that if there is a proper waste disposal system, people in Onitsha will prefer to dump their waste in the gutter and on the streets?

It is the same government that is responsible for civic education, public health awareness, law enforcement, public orientation, leadership by example etc. that will lead to the mindset of people becoming recreated and renewed.

One high-rise on the same road can accommodate the multiple businesses. They don't have to be on the roadside to get patronage. No matter the scale or type of business they can all be situated in a plaza.

A cleaner city makes for a healthy and productive population. Making a city 'finer' is not about impressing anyone it is about improving the quality of life.

Don't tell me you believe there are no rundown hoods in cities in Europe, North America and Australia?

Too many substitutions by Man. Utd has made them lose their momentum. Brighton is fighting back. Wonder what the coaching crew at Man. Utd were thinking. The substitutions should have started in the 85th minute. The Luke Shaw change was good, the rest were too early.

The 3rd goal shouldn't stand. It was a clear foul by Luke Shaw. Brighton lost the ball and Man Utd. scored. Ojoro no good.

Only 2 countries submitted a bid for hosting the games in 2030, Nigeria and India. India presented Ahmedabad as the host city, Nigeria chose Abuja.
Ahmedabad has the Narendra Modi Stadium which is one of the largest stadium in the world, capacity of 132,000. It successfully hosted the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Final. Abuja has all it takes to host the games, but they have a lot of work to do to convince other countries to vote for them.

Personal observation: I am not comfortable with a couple of people involved in this Abuja bid committee. These individuals in my opinion are sit don tight personalities, which kind of tells me it will be business as usual. Someone like Habu Gumel was there in 2003 Africa Games in Abuja, also there during the unsuccessful bid for the commonwealth games in 2014. He has been Nigeria Olympic Committee President for a long time. Another person is Mainasara Ilo, his being around forever. Was part of 2003 All Africa Games Abuja. Not saying they are bad people, just that they don't seem to ever groom new sports administrators to take over from them.

Your revenue analysis is on point, but typically gate takings/tickets goes to the organizer of the event. The organizer pays Akwa Ibom State to rent the stadium. In this case the NFF (organizer), will probably pocket all the gate takings. For this match, the NFF sold the tickets for 3K naira VIP, and 1K for regular. The Uyo stadium has 7500 VIP seats and 22,500 regular seats. Today was a full house, so the NFF should have made between 30 to 45 million naira from ticket sales.

For Akwa Ibom State, according to the 2025 state budget, they expect to make 10 million naira from the stadium this year (same amount they quoted in 2023 and 2024). 10 million naira is pittance. Annual maintenance cost of a stadium of that magnitude is way more than 10 million naira. The stadium is a huge liability to the state. It cost them around 16 billion naira to build the stadium. I can't recall if they borrowed to finance the construction.

Your points are very valid and I agree. But if he listened to some of the people who were telling him to correct some of those mistakes back then, we wouldn't be in this mess. As you said the current leaders have no excuse, they should learn from the past and do the right thing.

The question is very valid, has he paid his investors? Dude took money from investors and hasn't paid back. Isn't it ethical to settle his debt or even keep his creditors in the loop. He shuned them, claiming he has no money, yet he is here organizing 10 year anniversary.

Nobody traveled abroad more than Obasanjo. Though most of his trips were non-medical or personal. But he made the word globetrottering popular. I believe he visited about 103 countries during his tenure.

Obasanjo is actually part of the problem. During his tenure all these mess you are witnessing today was brought back into our politics. You think Edris sang Jaga Jaga for fun? Or Blackfaze's Hard life was just for entertainment? Political opponents were killed, Bola Ige, Funsho Williams, Akande etc. He pursued Fayose from Ekiti via state of emergency and then impeachment. Seized Lagos State's Federal allocation, looked the other way when Ngige a sitting governor was kidnapped. Used El-Rufai as FCT minister to demolish houses, Ribadu at EFFC to harass political opponents. Saw to the impeachment of 3 senate presidents. Used INEC to rig elections, AD was strong in the West, APGA (a new party) in the East, ANPP in the North, but in 2003 elections the way PDP won was like magic, all the western states apart from Lagos went to PDP, same in the East. Ballot box snatching and stuffing was on another level. Let me stop here.

Not only that, blackface sang his own version of African Queen which I am sure u don't know about, not only that they all came together again n dropped an album n blackface also released many singles afterwards but the hate in him just won't let him blend with others.

I know for sure u didn't watch his interview with nedu where he was saying everyone stole his song from tekno to burna to olamide to psquare to asake n co.

Hate? Someone that vibes with Faze on a steady. Shows up and performs for his annual Faze alone concert. His relationship with 2Face will gradually blossom.

We should take time and understand intellectual property in the music industry. Go and listen to Sisqo's Thong song and Ricky Martin's Livin la Vida Loca, and tell me the similarities. Or Hey Ma by Camron and Easy by the Commodores. Ricky Martin almost took Sisqo to court, the later had to hand over the publishing to the writer of the song (not Ricky Martin, who is just the perfomer/singer). So anytime Thong song plays or is used in an ad, the writer gets majority of the money.

What Blackfaze did in regards to intellectual property (IP) theft should be celebrated, he is one of the trailblazers in Africa. Teckno had to quickly settle with Danfo Drivers for using Jogodo. Mr Eazi got permission from Tony Tetuila for using the word Fefe na Fe in his song. There a lot of examples to show that Blackface was right in his claims that people might have unintentionally or intentionally infringed on his IP.

We trivialize everything. Someone was fighting for his intellectual property and brand, he choose the legal route, cried out to the public, few people gave him support. Instead of trying to understanding the issue, he is being labeled as bitter and made fun of at every single opportunity.

How do you enjoy maligning someone? Blackfaze lives in Lagos, Faze lives in Abuja, 2face seems to be spending more time in Abuja lately. Will they always be found in the same place? Blackfaze that has always showed up for Faze's Faze alone concert is bitter? Faze featured in Blackfaze's new album that came out less than 12 months ago. Fans should cool down, and let this group figure things out themselves. All these negative comments targeted at one person is not funny.

Wait until someone takes your intellectual property twice, a whole industry blackballs you and the media paints you as bad.

Picture this scenario, you gave a friend your car to use (you didn't sell it to him ooo), he then goes behind you and registers the car as his own, repaints the car and is making money off it on Uber/Bolt. When you ask him how far, he says he doesn't know what you are talking about. Before you know it everyone is calling you bad belle, over your own car. I will leave it to you, to decide how you will react or behave.

Note: It was 2Faze's label and also his manager that caused most of the problem. They made 2 friends, have issues and fall out over something both of them were willing to resolve amicably.
