JOAO MOUTINHO could be set for a sensational move
to Manchester United before the end of the transfer
window if super agent Jorge Mendes gets his way.

United remain in the hunt for a central midfielder
before the transfer window slams shut at 11pm this
evening.
Having pulled out of a deal for Arturo Vidal over
concerns about his fitness United have been linked
with a move for Nigel De Jong but a move for
Moutinho could make more sense.
The player is thought to be unhappy at the exodus
that has taken place at Monaco this summer with
Radamel Falcao the latest player to depart.
James Rodriguez also headed for the exit after the
World Cup while Danijel Subasic is another who has
been linked with a move away from the Principality
club.
Reports in France today suggest that Moutinho is
now considering his future and could push for a
move of his own with Mendes seemingly working
hard to find his Monaco clients new destinations.
Jorge Mendes represents Radamel Falcao, Angel
Di Maria and Joao Moutinho
Mendes represents both Falcao and Rodriguez but
his clients also include Angel Di Maria, who has
already made a big money move to United this
summer.
Mendes has worked closely with United both this
summer in the past having represented the likes of
Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson.
And it would make a lot of sense for one of the
transfer market's biggest personalities to try and
get as many of his clients as possible to United if
he's decided that Monaco is a sinking ship.
It now remains to be seen whether United show an
interest in Moutinho if they fail to land any of their
other midfield targets - including yet another
Mendes client William Carvalho - the former Porto
man could yet join Falcao and Di Maria at Old
Trafford next season.
