I agree with Peter Obi. Nigeria's current 6% budgetary allocation for education is far below UNESCO's recommended benchmark of about 15 - 20%, even further below Nigeria's own National Policy on Education benchmark of 26%.

What makes it even worse is Tinubu government's chronic poor budget implementation despite high taxation, removal of Petrol Subsidy, and current oil boom.

Nigeria needs a more vibrant, responsible, and accountable leadership.

This thing is not rocket science. Invest in education and get it to global standards but don't keep it in the hands of government, just make sure every student can access it with student loan (some credit to Tinubu here despite being a failed leader).

Ensure full transparency in the implementation process. All institutions must ensure their accounts are fully auditable, monitor the system with the press and EFCC to make sure the benefits go directly to the students and not the politicians, institutional leaders and contractors.

Consistency over 10 years of this and you already have an entirely new and well educated population ready to take on the world.

It’s better to vote another party. A vote for APC in Lagos state is a vote for continuous looting and lies.

Lagos state is the only state that's govern by APC since 1999 and they are progressing.

Other states like Rivers,Akwa-Ibom,Delta wey close to them in terms of generating revenue are now where to be found in terms of developments.

But this is it, both Hamzat and ambode are in their early 60s, would development not start declining if any of the two personalities is been considered to become Lagos’ next Gov.

Let ask ourselves this honest question, is Hamzat and Ambode the best Lagos APC can offer to his people?

All I want from the next President is:

1.) End this madness of insecurity that have made Nigerian highways and almost every part of Nigeria a risk

2.) Implement electronic voting and other things that will make our elections free, fair, credible to at least 90% so Nigerians can start electing their desired leaders, and so that politicians can start delivering on their campaign promises knowing fully well that only their performance will reelect them and not relying on tribal-religious rhetoric and gimmicks like Bola

3.) Cut down cost of governance in Nigeria.


These three things are the only things I expect Peter Obi or next President to tackle head on

4.) Unite Nigeria by carrying every tribe and region along sincerely to make our diversity become a true strength and not a curse like Tinubu and Buhari did.


In fact whoever told Tinubu that sidelining every other tribe and region and making Nigeria all about Lagos and Yorubas never liked him, that person deceived Tinubu.



But as for Nigeria becoming developed like this Japan, Korea, Singapore and co, its not ever going to be possible again, sadly
